The servant watched her in silence, wondering whether or not the Lord had given him success in his mission.

他說：「耶和華－我主人亞伯拉罕的神啊，求你施恩給我主人亞伯拉罕，使我今日遇見好機會。

凡有智慧的，必在這些事上留心，也必思想耶和華的慈愛。

於是大衛王進去，坐在耶和華面前，說：「主耶和華啊，我是誰？我的家算甚麼？你竟使我到這地步呢？主耶和華啊，這在你眼中還看為小，又應許你僕人的家至於久遠。主耶和華啊，這豈是人所常遇的事嗎？主耶和華啊，我還有何言可以對你說呢？因為你知道你的僕人。

馬利亞卻把這一切的事存在心裏，反覆思想。

他就同他們下去，回到拿撒勒，並且順從他們。他母親把這一切的事都存在心裏。

我愛耶和華，因為他聽了我的聲音和我的懇求。他既向我側耳，我一生要求告他。死亡的繩索纏繞我；陰間的痛苦抓住我；我遭遇患難愁苦。那時，我便求告耶和華的名，說：耶和華啊，求你救我的靈魂！耶和華有恩惠，有公義；我們的神以憐憫為懷。耶和華保護愚人；我落到卑微的地步，他救了我。我的心哪！你要仍歸安樂，因為耶和華用厚恩待你。

但願人因耶和華的慈愛和他向人所行的奇事都稱讚他；

僕人說：「耶和華既賜給我通達的道路，你們不要躭誤我，請打發我走，回我主人那裏去吧。」

我要時時稱頌耶和華；讚美他的話必常在我口中。我的心必因耶和華誇耀；謙卑人聽見就要喜樂。你們和我當稱耶和華為大，一同高舉他的名。我曾尋求耶和華，他就應允我，救我脫離了一切的恐懼。凡仰望他的，便有光榮；他們的臉必不蒙羞。我這困苦人呼求，耶和華便垂聽，救我脫離一切患難。

你們要稱謝耶和華，因他本為善；他的慈愛永遠長存！
