那善於管理教會的長老，當以為配受加倍的敬奉；那勞苦傳道教導人的，更當如此。

眾首領和勇士，並大衛王的眾子，都順服所羅門王。

僕人就把手放在他主人亞伯拉罕的大腿底下，為這事向他起誓。那僕人從他主人的駱駝裏取了十匹駱駝，並帶些他主人各樣的財物，起身往美索不達米亞去，到了拿鶴的城。

約瑟吩咐家宰說：「把糧食裝滿這些人的口袋，儘着他們的驢所能馱的，又把各人的銀子放在各人的口袋裏，

約瑟不從，對他主人的妻說：「看哪，一切家務，我主人都不知道；他把所有的都交在我手裏。在這家裏沒有比我大的；並且他沒有留下一樣不交給我，只留下了你，因為你是他的妻子。我怎能作這大惡，得罪神呢？」
