那些善於治理教會的長老，尤其是那些在講道和教導上勞苦的長老，你們應當看他們是配受加倍的敬重和供奉的。

眾領袖和勇士，以及大衛王的眾子，都順服所羅門王。

於是，僕人把手放在他主人亞伯拉罕的大腿下，為這事向亞伯拉罕起誓。那僕人從他主人的駱駝裡取了十匹駱駝，帶著主人各樣的美物，起程往兩河之間的亞蘭去，到了拿鶴的城。

約瑟吩咐管家說：“把糧食裝滿這些人的布袋，要盡他們所能攜帶的，又把各人的銀子放在他們的袋口；

約瑟不肯，對他主人的妻子說：“你看，家中的事我主人一概不管；他把他所有的一切，都交在我的手裡。在這家裡沒有比我大的。除你以外，我主人沒有留下一樣不交給我，因為你是他的妻子。我怎可以作這極惡的事，得罪神呢？”
