The servant chose ten of his master’s camels and left. He loaded the camels with all kinds of good things from his master. He started out for Aram Naharaim and made his way to the town of Nahor.

Then the servant took ten of his master’s camels and departed, taking all sorts of choice gifts from his master; and he arose and went to Mesopotamia to the city of Nahor.

Then he loaded ten of Abraham’s camels with all kinds of expensive gifts from his master, and he traveled to distant Aram naharaim. There he went to the town where Abraham’s brother Nahor had settled.

So the warden put Joseph in charge of all those held in the prison, and he was made responsible for all that was done there.The warden paid no attention to anything under Joseph’s care, because the Lord was with Joseph and gave him success in whatever he did.

But he refused.“ With me in charge,” he told her,“ my master does not concern himself with anything in the house; everything he owns he has entrusted to my care.No one is greater in this house than I am. My master has withheld nothing from me except you, because you are his wife. How then could I do such a wicked thing and sin against God?”

He said to the senior servant in his household, the one in charge of all that he had,“ Put your hand under my thigh.

Now then, my son, do what I say: Flee at once to my brother Laban in Harran.
