「我主啊，請聽我們說！你在我們中間是尊貴的王子，請在我們最好的墳地安葬你的死者吧！我們中沒有一個人會阻止你在他的墳地安葬你的死者。」

吾主請聽、爾在我中、為有能之牧伯、在我塚地間、擇其佳者、以葬其尸。我中必無人禁爾。

吾主請聽、爾在我中為尊大之牧伯、請於我塋地間、擇其佳者、以葬爾之死者、我中必無人禁爾葬爾死者於其塋地、

“ Sir, listen to us. You are a mighty prince among us. Bury your dead in the choicest of our tombs. None of us will refuse you his tomb for burying your dead.”

耶和華錫嘏吾主甚厚、使之昌大、賜以金銀僕婢、牛羊駝驢、

亞伯蘭聞姪被虜、遂率習練之丁壯、素育於家者、三百一十八人、追敵至但、

竊哂曰、我老矣、吾主亦然、庸有喜乎、

曰、吾主、不然、僕為乞糴而來、

則曰、屬我主之僕雅各、以饋我主以掃、雅各亦在後、

此器非吾主所用以飲、而藉以卜者乎、爾行此事、是不良也、

富有金銀牲畜、

囑曰、告我主以掃云、爾僕雅各曰、我旅於拉班家、越至今日、有牛羊驢僕婢、特遣人告我主、望沾主恩、

曰、吾主、請飲、乃急下缾以飲之、

拉結謂父曰、天癸適至、不得起迎、吾主勿怒、拉班徧索神像、終不獲、

維時、亞比米勒與其軍長非各、謂亞伯拉罕曰、汝凡所為、上帝偕之、

曰、我主歟、願蒙爾恩、我雖不如爾使女之一、爾乃慰藉爾婢、語以愜心之言、

耶和華又曰、埃及勞而得者、古實之貨財、及雄偉之西巴族、俱必歸爾、屬爾從爾、繫以鐵索而來、俯伏於爾前、禱曰、上帝誠在爾中、其外無他上帝、

昔得金於囊、我自迦南來、攜以反爾、則我豈竊金銀於爾主之室乎、

亞倫曰、我主勿怒、斯民決志作惡、爾所知也、
