So Ephron’s field in Machpelah near Mamre— both the field and the cave in it, and all the trees within the borders of the field— was deeded

So Ephron sold his field to Abraham. The field was in Machpelah near Mamre. Abraham bought the field and the cave that was in it. He also bought all the trees that were inside the borders of the field. Everything was sold

So the field of Ephron in Machpelah, which was to the east of Mamre, the field with the cave that was in it and all the trees that were in the field, throughout its whole area, was made over

So Abraham bought the plot of land belonging to Ephron at Machpelah, near Mamre. This included the field itself, the cave that was in it, and all the surrounding trees.

So Abraham secured Ephron’s field in Machpelah, next to Mamre, including the field, the cave that was in it, and all the trees that were in the field and all around its border,

他們把他送到迦南地，葬在幔利對面的麥比拉田間的洞裏；那田是亞伯拉罕向赫人以弗崙買來作墳地的產業。

他兩個兒子以撒、以實瑪利把他安葬在麥比拉洞裏。這洞在幔利的對面、赫人瑣轄的兒子以弗崙的田中，

從此，那塊田和田間的洞就從赫人移交給亞伯拉罕作墳地的產業。

他們又被遷到示劍，葬於亞伯拉罕在示劍用銀子從哈抹子孫買來的墳墓裏。

施恩與人、借貸與人、秉公處事的人必享美福，

從前，在以色列中要確認任何交易，無論是贖業或買賣，一方必須脫鞋給另一方。以色列中都以此為證。那至親對波阿斯說：「你自己買吧！」於是把鞋脫了下來。波阿斯對長老和所有在場的百姓說：「你們今日都是證人；凡屬以利米勒，以及基連和瑪倫的，我都從拿娥米手中買下來了。我也娶瑪倫的妻子摩押女子路得，好讓死人可以在產業上留名，免得他的名在本族本鄉的城門中消失了。你們今日都是證人。」

『看哪，你叔父沙龍的兒子哈拿篾必到你這裏來，說：請你買我在亞拿突的那塊地，因為你有代贖的責任。』我叔父的兒子哈拿篾果然照耶和華的話來到護衛兵的院內，對我說：『請你買我在便雅憫境內、亞拿突的那塊地；因為它應該由你來承受，而且你也有代贖的責任。請你買下它吧！』我就知道這確是耶和華的話。「我便向我叔父的兒子哈拿篾買了亞拿突的那塊地，秤了十七舍客勒銀子給他。我在契上簽字，將契封緘，又請證人來，用天平把銀子秤給他。我又將按照法定條例所立的買契，就是封緘的那一張和敞開的那一張，在我叔父的兒子哈拿篾和簽字作證的人，並坐在護衛兵院內所有猶大人眼前，交給瑪西雅的孫子尼利亞的兒子巴錄。我在眾人眼前囑咐巴錄說：『萬軍之耶和華－以色列的神如此說：你拿着這文件，就是封緘的和敞開的買契，把它們放在瓦器裏，以便長久保存。

他又吩咐他們說：「我快要歸到我祖先那裏。你們要將我葬在赫人以弗崙田間的洞裏，與我的祖先在一處，就是在迦南地幔利對面的麥比拉田間的洞裏，那田是亞伯拉罕向赫人以弗崙買來作墳地的產業。亞伯拉罕和他的妻子撒拉葬在那裏；以撒和他的妻子利百加也葬在那裏。我也在那裏葬了利亞。那塊田和田間的洞是向赫人買的。」

「看哪！我差你們出去，如同羊進入狼羣，所以你們要機警如蛇，純真如鴿。

你們要把握時機，用智慧與外人來往。

你們要謹慎行事，不要像無知的人，要像智慧的人。
