And the field of Ephron, which[ was] in Machpelah, which[ was] before Mamre, the field, and the cave which[ was] therein, and all the trees that[ were] in the field, that[ were] in all the borders round about, were made sure

So Ephron’s field in Machpelah near Mamre— both the field and the cave in it, and all the trees within the borders of the field— was deeded

So Ephron sold his field to Abraham. The field was in Machpelah near Mamre. Abraham bought the field and the cave that was in it. He also bought all the trees that were inside the borders of the field. Everything was sold

So the field of Ephron in Machpelah, which was to the east of Mamre, the field with the cave that was in it and all the trees that were in the field, throughout its whole area, was made over

So Abraham bought the plot of land belonging to Ephron at Machpelah, near Mamre. This included the field itself, the cave that was in it, and all the surrounding trees.

So Ephron’s field at Machpelah near Mamre— the field with its cave and all the trees anywhere within the boundaries of the field— became

So Ephron’s field, which was in Machpelah, which faced Mamre, the field and the cave which was in it, and all the trees which were in the field, that were within all the confines of its border, were deeded over

So the field of Ephron which was in Machpelah, which was before Mamre, the field and the cave which was in it, and all the trees that were in the field, which were within all the surrounding borders, were deeded

So the field of Ephron, which was in Machpelah, which was before Mamre, the field, and the cave which was therein, and all the trees that were in the field, that were in all the border thereof round about, were made sure

So Ephron’s field at Machpelah near Mamre— the field with its cave and all the trees anywhere within the boundaries of the field— became

So Abraham secured Ephron’s field in Machpelah, next to Mamre, including the field, the cave that was in it, and all the trees that were in the field and all around its border,

So the field of Ephron, which was in Machpelah, which was before Mamre, the field, the cave which was in it, and all the trees that were in the field, that were in all of its borders, were deeded

For his sons carried him into the land of Canaan, and buried him in the cave of the field of Machpelah, which Abraham bought with the field for a possession of a buryingplace of Ephron the Hittite, before Mamre.

And his sons Isaac and Ishmael buried him in the cave of Machpelah, in the field of Ephron the son of Zohar the Hittite, which[ is] before Mamre;

And the field, and the cave that[ is] therein, were made sure unto Abraham for a possession of a buryingplace by the sons of Heth.

And were carried over into Sychem, and laid in the sepulchre that Abraham bought for a sum of money of the sons of Emmor[ the father] of Sychem.

A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion.

Now this[ was the manner] in former time in Israel concerning redeeming and concerning changing, for to confirm all things; a man plucked off his shoe, and gave[ it] to his neighbour: and this[ was] a testimony in Israel.Therefore the kinsman said unto Boaz, Buy[ it] for thee. So he drew off his shoe.And Boaz said unto the elders, and[ unto] all the people, Ye[ are] witnesses this day, that I have bought all that[ was] Elimelech’s, and all that[ was] Chilion’s and Mahlon’s, of the hand of Naomi.Moreover Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of Mahlon, have I purchased to be my wife, to raise up the name of the dead upon his inheritance, that the name of the dead be not cut off from among his brethren, and from the gate of his place: ye[ are] witnesses this day.

Behold, Hanameel the son of Shallum thine uncle shall come unto thee, saying, Buy thee my field that[ is] in Anathoth: for the right of redemption[ is] thine to buy[ it].So Hanameel mine uncle’s son came to me in the court of the prison according to the word of the LORD, and said unto me, Buy my field, I pray thee, that[ is] in Anathoth, which[ is] in the country of Benjamin: for the right of inheritance[ is] thine, and the redemption[ is] thine; buy[ it] for thyself. Then I knew that this[ was] the word of the LORD.And I bought the field of Hanameel my uncle’s son, that[ was] in Anathoth, and weighed him the money,[ even] seventeen shekels of silver.And I subscribed the evidence, and sealed[ it], and took witnesses, and weighed[ him] the money in the balances.So I took the evidence of the purchase,[ both] that which was sealed[ according] to the law and custom, and that which was open:And I gave the evidence of the purchase unto Baruch the son of Neriah, the son of Maaseiah, in the sight of Hanameel mine uncle’s[ son], and in the presence of the witnesses that subscribed the book of the purchase, before all the Jews that sat in the court of the prison.And I charged Baruch before them, saying,Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Take these evidences, this evidence of the purchase, both which is sealed, and this evidence which is open; and put them in an earthen vessel, that they may continue many days.

And he charged them, and said unto them, I am to be gathered unto my people: bury me with my fathers in the cave that[ is] in the field of Ephron the Hittite,In the cave that[ is] in the field of Machpelah, which[ is] before Mamre, in the land of Canaan, which Abraham bought with the field of Ephron the Hittite for a possession of a buryingplace.There they buried Abraham and Sarah his wife; there they buried Isaac and Rebekah his wife; and there I buried Leah.The purchase of the field and of the cave that[ is] therein[ was] from the children of Heth.

Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.

Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.

See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,
