So Ephron’s field in Machpelah near Mamre— both the field and the cave in it, and all the trees within the borders of the field— was deeded

So Ephron sold his field to Abraham. The field was in Machpelah near Mamre. Abraham bought the field and the cave that was in it. He also bought all the trees that were inside the borders of the field. Everything was sold

So the field of Ephron in Machpelah, which was to the east of Mamre, the field with the cave that was in it and all the trees that were in the field, throughout its whole area, was made over

So Abraham bought the plot of land belonging to Ephron at Machpelah, near Mamre. This included the field itself, the cave that was in it, and all the surrounding trees.

So Ephron’s field at Machpelah near Mamre— the field with its cave and all the trees anywhere within the boundaries of the field— became

So Abraham secured Ephron’s field in Machpelah, next to Mamre, including the field, the cave that was in it, and all the trees that were in the field and all around its border,

他们把他运到迦南地，葬在幔利对面的麦比拉田间的洞穴里。那田是亚伯拉罕向赫提人以弗仑买来的，作为他拥有的坟地。

他的儿子以撒和以实玛利把他葬在幔利对面、赫提人琐哈尔的儿子以弗仑田中的麦比拉洞穴里；

于是那块田地和其中的洞穴，由赫提的子孙们转给了亚伯拉罕，作为他拥有的坟地。

遗体被带回示剑，安放到亚伯拉罕在示剑用一笔银子从哈莫尔的子孙买来的坟墓里。

恩待人、借予人的，是有福之人，他秉公办事；

从前在以色列中，确立任何有关赎回权或有关替换权的事，就要这样做：一方要脱下自己的鞋子交给另一方。这是以色列中作见证的方式。那个有赎回权的近亲对波阿斯说：“你取得那块田吧！”于是他就脱下了自己的鞋子。接着波阿斯对长老们和全体民众说：“今天你们都是见证人：所有属于以利米勒的、所有属于基连和玛伦的，我都从娜娥米的手中取得了；此外我也得了玛伦的妻子摩押女子路得作我的妻子，好使那死者在继业上立名，以免那死者的名从他的兄弟中、从本地的城门口断绝。今天你们都是见证人。”

雅各又吩咐他们，对他们说：“我就要归到我的先人那里了。你们要把我葬在我的祖先那里，葬在赫提人以弗仑田野中的洞穴里，就是在迦南地幔利对面的麦比拉田间的洞穴里；麦比拉田是亚伯拉罕向赫提人以弗仑买来的，作为他拥有的坟地。亚伯拉罕和他的妻子撒拉葬在那里，以撒和他妻子莉白加也葬在那里；我也把莉亚葬在那里。那块田野和田野中的洞穴是从赫提子孙们那里买来的。”

“看哪，我差派你们出去，就像把羊送进狼群中，所以你们要像蛇那样聪明，像鸽子那样纯洁。

你们要把握机会，对外面的人靠智慧行事。

所以，你们要仔细察看怎样行事为人，不要像没有智慧的人，而要像有智慧的人；
