亞伯拉罕聽了，就照以弗崙在赫提子孫們面前所說的銀價，給他稱了四百謝克爾商用的銀子。

Abraham agreed to Ephron’s terms and weighed out for him the price he had named in the hearing of the Hittites: four hundred shekels of silver, according to the weight current among the merchants.

Abraham agreed to Ephron’s offer. He weighed out for Ephron the price he had named. The Hittites there had heard the amount. The price was ten pounds of silver. Abraham measured it by the weights that were used by merchants.

Abraham listened to Ephron, and Abraham weighed out for Ephron the silver that he had named in the hearing of the Hittites, four hundred shekels of silver, according to the weights current among the merchants.

So Abraham agreed to Ephron’s price and paid the amount he had suggested— 400 pieces of silver, weighed according to the market standard. The Hittite elders witnessed the transaction.

Abraham agreed with Ephron, and Abraham weighed out to Ephron the silver that he had agreed to in the hearing of the Hethites: four hundred standard shekels of silver.

Abraham listened to Ephron; and Abraham weighed out for Ephron the silver which he had named in the presence of the sons of Heth, four hundred shekels of silver, currency acceptable to a merchant.

Abraham agreed with Ephron, and Abraham weighed out to Ephron the silver that he had agreed to in the presence of the Hittites: 400 shekels of silver at the current commercial rate.

And Abraham hearkened unto Ephron; and Abraham weighed to Ephron the silver, which he had named in the audience of the sons of Heth, four hundred shekels of silver, current[ money] with the merchant.

So Abraham agreed to Ephron’s price and weighed out for him the price that Ephron had quoted in the hearing of the sons of Heth– 400 pieces of silver, according to the standard measurement at the time.

Abraham listened to Ephron. Abraham weighed to Ephron the silver which he had named in the hearing of the children of Heth, four hundred shekels of silver, according to the current merchants’ standard.

我对他们说：“你们若看为美，就给我工价。不然，就罢了！”于是他们秤了三十块银钱作为我的工价。

“我便向我叔父的儿子哈拿篾买了亚拿突的那块地，秤了十七舍客勒银子给他。

你们除了彼此相爱，对任何人都不可亏欠什么，因为那爱人的就成全了律法。

把王和谋士、军官，并在那里的以色列众人为我们上帝殿所献的金银和器皿，都秤了交给他们。我秤了交在他们手中的有六百五十他连得银子，一百他连得银器，一百他连得金子，二十个金碗，值一千达利克，上等光亮的铜器皿两个，珍贵如金。我对他们说：“你们归耶和华为圣，器皿也归为圣；金银是甘心献给耶和华—你们列祖之上帝的。你们要警醒看守，直到你们在祭司长和利未族长，以及以色列的各族长面前，在耶路撒冷耶和华殿的库房内，把这些过了秤。”于是，祭司和利未人把秤过的金银和器皿接过来，要带到耶路撒冷我们上帝的殿里。

所以，无论何事，你们想要人怎样待你们，你们也要怎样待人，因为这就是律法和先知的道理。”

一舍客勒是二十季拉；二十舍客勒，二十五舍客勒，十五舍客勒，合起来为你们的一弥那。

末了，弟兄们，凡是真实的、凡是可敬的、凡是公义的、凡是清洁的、凡是可爱的、凡是有美名的，若有什么德行，若有什么称赞，你们都要留意。

智慧不可用黄金换取，也不能用白银秤她的价值。

每一个被数的人要按照圣所的舍客勒，付半舍客勒，一舍客勒是二十季拉；这半舍客勒是献给耶和华的礼物。

后来到了住宿的地方，我们打开袋子，看哪，各人的银子还在自己的袋口上，银子的分量一点不少。现在我们亲手把它带回来，

“我主请听。四百舍客勒银子的地，在你我中间算什么呢？只管埋葬你的死人吧！”

不准有人在这事上越轨，占他弟兄的便宜；因为这一类的事，主必报应，正如我预先对你们说过，又切切警告过你们的。
