然后当着那地民众的面，对以弗仑说：“如果你乐意，就请听我说！我要把这块田地的银价付给你，请你收下，好让我在那里安葬我的死者。”

當眾前謂以弗崙曰、請聽我言、我將以金購田、爾其受之、使我得葬死者、

謂以弗崙曰、請聽吾言、我將以金購田、爾可受之、使死者得葬。民皆聞之。○

於居民前、謂以弗崙曰、惟願爾聽我言、我必以銀給爾田值、爾可受之、後方以我之死者葬於彼、

and he said to Ephron in their hearing,“ Listen to me, if you will. I will pay the price of the field. Accept it from me so I can bury my dead there.”

He spoke to Ephron so they could hear him. He said,“ Please listen to me. I’ll pay the price of the field. Accept it from me. Then I can bury my wife there.”

And he said to Ephron in the hearing of the people of the land,“ But if you will, hear me: I give the price of the field. Accept it from me, that I may bury my dead there.”

and he replied to Ephron as everyone listened.“ No, listen to me. I will buy it from you. Let me pay the full price for the field so I can bury my dead there.”

and said to Ephron in the hearing of the people of the land,“ Listen to me, if you please. Let me pay the price of the field. Accept it from me, and let me bury my dead there.”

and he spoke to Ephron in the hearing of the people of the land, saying,“ If you will give it, please hear me. I will give you money for the field; take it from me and I will bury my dead there.”

And he spake unto Ephron in the audience of the people of the land, saying, But if thou wilt, I pray thee, hear me: I will give the price of the field; take it of me, and I will bury my dead there.

and said to Ephron in the presence of the people of the land,“ Please listen to me. Let me pay the price of the field. Accept it from me, and let me bury my dead there.”

And he spake unto Ephron in the audience of the people of the land, saying, But if thou[ wilt give it], I pray thee, hear me: I will give thee money for the field; take[ it] of me, and I will bury my dead there.

and said to Ephron in their hearing,“ Hear me, if you will. I pay to you the price of the field. Take it from me so that I may bury my dead there.”

He spoke to Ephron in the audience of the people of the land, saying,“ But if you will, please hear me. I will give the price of the field. Take it from me, and I will bury my dead there.”

Let your gentle spirit be known to all people. The Lord is near.Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and pleading with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, think about these things.

Owe nothing to anyone except to love one another; for the one who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the Law.

Conduct yourselves with wisdom toward outsiders, making the most of the opportunity.
