篤信乎主、惟恆其心、永錫平康。耶和華為永生上帝、爾當恆賴、

彼得曰、我儕舍一切從爾、耶穌曰、我誠告爾、未有人、為我及福音、離屋宇、兄弟、姊妹、父母、妻子、田疇、而不獲百倍者、即今世屋宇、兄弟、姊妹、母子、田疇、亦有窘逐、而來世永生矣、然先者多為後、後者多為先也、○

愛父母過於我者、不宜於我也、愛子女過於我者、不宜乎我也、

且爾竭心思、為所當為、轉瞬之間、即歸於土、在彼無工作、無計謀、無智慧。

亞伯拉罕被試時有信、而獻子以撒於上帝、彼有嫡子一人、雖蒙上帝許、言出自以撒者為其苗裔、而亦獻之、自以為上帝能由死甦之、由是而觀、則謂其死而復生也可、

是日亞伯拉罕遵上帝命、將子以實馬利以及家所生、金所鬻之男子、咸行割禮。
