and through your offspring all nations on earth will be blessed, because you have obeyed me.”

All nations on earth will be blessed because of your children. All these things will happen because you have obeyed me.”

Ye are the sons of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with your fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed.

Now to Abraham were the promises spoken, and to his seed. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.

And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all the nations be blessed.So then they that are of faith are blessed with the faithful Abraham.

seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him?

but this thing I commanded them, saying, Hearken unto my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people; and walk ye in all the way that I command you, that it may be well with you.

His name shall endure for ever; His name shall be continued as long as the sun: And men shall be blessed in him; All nations shall call him happy.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ:

concerning his Son, who was born of the seed of David according to the flesh,

For if the inheritance is of the law, it is no more of promise: but God hath granted it to Abraham by promise.

for the time will fail me if I tell of Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah; of David and Samuel and the prophets:who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions,quenched the power of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, from weakness were made strong, waxed mighty in war, turned to flight armies of aliens.Women received their dead by a resurrection: and others were tortured, not accepting their deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection:and others had trial of mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment:they were stoned, they were sawn asunder, they were tempted, they were slain with the sword: they went about in sheepskins, in goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, ill- treated( of whom the world was not worthy), wandering in deserts and mountains and caves, and the holes of the earth.And these all, having had witness borne to them through their faith, received not the promise,God having provided some better thing concerning us, that apart from us they should not be made perfect.

Therefore Jehovah, the God of Israel, saith, I said indeed that thy house, and the house of thy father, should walk before me for ever: but now Jehovah saith, Be it far from me; for them that honor me I will honor, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed.
