曰、吾子、上帝將備羔、以為燔祭。

其田築壇、奉事耶和華、名之曰。耶和華沙林、斯壇在亞庇以泄人之阿弗拉、迄今尚存。

我之列祖、惟爾是賴、蒙爾拯救兮、彼籲爾而得援手兮、彼賴爾而不貽羞兮、

撒母耳取石立於米斯巴善間、稱其名以便以設、曰、延及此時、耶和華助我。

吾欲兄弟知、吾在亞西亞遭苦、見壓特甚、勢不可當、欲保生命、已絕其望、自擬必死、所以我不恃己、惟恃甦人之上帝、昔拯我於危亡、今又拯我、復望其將拯我矣、

邑之四周、一萬八千杖、是日以後、邑名曰耶和華駐蹕之所。

我所事之上帝、能救我於洪爐、脫我於王手、即不然、我亦不事王之上帝、拜王所立之金像、王怒益甚、勃然變色、使爇洪爐、較常者燄烈七倍、命軍中壯士束縛三人、投諸洪爐、三人受縛、不去上下內外之衣、投於洪爐、王命孔亟、洪爐倍熱、壯士反為烈燄所燬、三人既被縛、擲於洪爐、頃之王忽驚起、問諸議士曰、我非取三人、縛投火中乎、僉曰然、王曰、我今見四人、不縛不傷、遨遊火中、其一貌若上帝子、

雅各名其地為便以利曰、我與上帝晤對、而覿其面、我命尚其可保。

蓋耶和華必代其民而伸冤、為其臣而回志、鑒觀於下、知民力已廢、或主或僕、靡有孑遺。

敬主之道、至大至妙、無不以為然、上帝假人身而顯著、稱義於聖神、見於天使、聞於異邦、信於天下、而躋光明之域、

夫道成人身、居於我儕之間、我儕見其榮、誠天父獨生子之榮、以恩寵真理而滿也、○

郇邑之民、果為勞苦、若婦臨產、蓋爾將出邑居野、至於巴比倫、在彼我耶和華將救爾出於敵手、
