我们心里觉得必死无疑，这使我们不倚靠自己，只倚靠使死人复活的上帝。祂曾救我们脱离死亡的威胁，将来还要救我们。我们深信祂必继续救我们。

你们遇见的诱惑无非是人们常见的。上帝是信实的，祂绝不会让你们遇见无法抵挡的诱惑，祂必为你们开一条出路，使你们经得住诱惑。

祭物和供品非你所悦，你开通了我的耳朵，燔祭和赎罪祭非你所要。于是我说：“看啊，我来了，正如经卷上有关我的记载。我的上帝啊，我乐意遵行你的旨意，我铭记你的律法。”

亚伯拉罕说：“孩子，上帝自己会预备献燔祭的羊羔。”二人就继续向前走。

不管你们向左还是向右，都会听见背后有声音说：“这是正路，踏上去吧！”

而是靠无瑕无疵的代罪羔羊——基督的宝血。基督是上帝在创世以前预先拣选的，却在这末世为你们显现。

你曾在异象中对你忠心的子民说：“我已把力量赐给一位勇士，已擢升我在民中拣选的人。我找到了我的仆人大卫，用我的圣油膏立他。

你们要把旧酵除掉，好成为真正无酵的新面团，因为我们逾越节的羔羊——基督已经被献为祭了。所以，我们不可带着歹毒邪恶的旧酵守这逾越节，而要用真诚纯洁的无酵饼。
