Early the next morning Abraham took some food and a skin of water and gave them to Hagar. He set them on her shoulders and then sent her off with the boy. She went on her way and wandered in the Desert of Beersheba.

Early the next morning Abraham got some food and a bottle of water. The bottle was made out of animal skin. He gave the food and water to Hagar, placing them on her shoulders. Then he sent her away with the boy. She went on her way and wandered in the Desert of Beersheba.

So Abraham rose early in the morning and took bread and a skin of water and gave it to Hagar, putting it on her shoulder, along with the child, and sent her away. And she departed and wandered in the wilderness of Beersheba.

So Abraham got up early the next morning, prepared food and a container of water, and strapped them on Hagar’s shoulders. Then he sent her away with their son, and she wandered aimlessly in the wilderness of Beersheba.

So Israel set out with all that was his, and when he reached Beersheba, he offered sacrifices to the God of his father Isaac.

If anyone loudly blesses their neighbor early in the morning, it will be taken as a curse.

a man found him wandering around in the fields and asked him,“ What are you looking for?”

He called it Shibah, and to this day the name of the town has been Beersheba.

His son by the slave woman was born according to the flesh, but his son by the free woman was born as the result of a divine promise.These things are being taken figuratively: The women represent two covenants. One covenant is from Mount Sinai and bears children who are to be slaves: This is Hagar.Now Hagar stands for Mount Sinai in Arabia and corresponds to the present city of Jerusalem, because she is in slavery with her children.

Early the next morning Abraham got up and loaded his donkey. He took with him two of his servants and his son Isaac. When he had cut enough wood for the burnt offering, he set out for the place God had told him about.

The fields of Heshbon wither, the vines of Sibmah also. The rulers of the nations have trampled down the choicest vines, which once reached Jazer and spread toward the desert. Their shoots spread out and went as far as the sea.

So that place was called Beersheba, because the two men swore an oath there.

Abraham planted a tamarisk tree in Beersheba, and there he called on the name of the Lord, the Eternal God.

Early the next morning Abraham got up and returned to the place where he had stood before the Lord.

Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever.

I will hasten and not delay to obey your commands.

The angel of the Lord found Hagar near a spring in the desert; it was the spring that is beside the road to Shur.

Elijah was afraid and ran for his life. When he came to Beersheba in Judah, he left his servant there,

Then Abraham returned to his servants, and they set off together for Beersheba. And Abraham stayed in Beersheba.

Then he and the men who were with him ate and drank and spent the night there. When they got up the next morning, he said,“ Send me on my way to my master.”
