耶和華遐棄惡人、惟聽義者之祈。

祈禱時、不論何求、信則得之、○

俾得獻祭、奉事天上上帝、取其馨香、為王及王子祈禱。

耶和華知利亞不見寵、故賜生育、惟拉結不妊。

今以婦歸其夫、彼乃先知、可代爾祈、全爾生命、不然、爾與眷聚必死。

兄弟乎、為我祈禱、

既為上帝降災、殺戮邑眾、故速集非利士人諸伯、曰、當遣以色列族上帝之匱、以歸故土、免殺我民。其時不死之人俱生痔、邑民號呼、升聞於上。

提慢人以利法、書亞人必達、拿抹人鎖法、遵耶和華命、耶和華垂顧約百、聽其代友祈禱、則復其舊業、較昔倍蓰。

肇造以色列邦之聖主、耶和華曰、予肇造斯民、莫非赤子、我所為、爾能詰我乎。

求則爾與、尋則遇之、叩門則啟之、

惡人之祭、為耶和華所疾、善人之祈、為主所悅。

自撒母耳以來、諸先知預言、亦指此日、
