所以你们要彼此认罪，互相代求，使你们可以得医治。义人祈祷所发的力量是大有功效的。

应当一无挂虑，只要凡事藉着祷告、祈求，和感谢，将你们所要的告诉神。

耶和华远离恶人，却听义人的祷告。

你们祷告，无论求什么，只要信，就必得着。”

好叫他们献馨香的祭给天上的神，又为王和王众子的寿命祈祷。

耶和华见利亚失宠，就使她生育，拉结却不生育。

现在你把这人的妻子归还他；因为他是先知，他要为你祷告，使你存活。你若不归还他，你当知道，你和你所有的人都必要死。”

请弟兄们为我们祷告。

于是打发人去请非利士的众首领来，说：“愿你们将以色列神的约柜送回原处，免得害了我们和我们的众民！”原来神的手重重攻击那城，城中的人有因惊慌而死的；未曾死的人都生了痔疮。合城呼号，声音上达于天。

于是提幔人以利法、书亚人比勒达、拿玛人琐法照着耶和华所吩咐的去行；耶和华就悦纳约伯。约伯为他的朋友祈祷。耶和华就使约伯从苦境转回，并且耶和华赐给他的比他从前所有的加倍。

耶和华以色列的圣者，就是造就以色列的如此说：“将来的事，你们可以问我；至于我的众子，并我手的工作，你们可以求我命定。

“你们祈求，就给你们；寻找，就寻见；叩门，就给你们开门。

恶人献祭，为耶和华所憎恶；正直人祈祷，为他所喜悦。

从撒母耳以来的众先知，凡说预言的，也都说到这些日子。
