所以你们要彼此认罪，互相代祷，好得到医治。义人的祷告有极大的力量和功效。

你们应该一无挂虑，凡事要借着祷告和祈求，以感恩的心将你们的需要告诉上帝。

耶和华远离恶人，却听义人的祷告。

所以，你们祷告时无论求什么，只要有信心，就必定得到。”

好让他们向天上的上帝献上蒙悦纳的祭物，并为王和众王子求寿。

耶和华看见利亚失宠，就使利亚生育，但拉结却不生育。

现在你要把那人的妻子还给他，他是个先知，他会为你祷告，使你活命。要知道，如果你不这样做，你和你的人民都必死。”

弟兄姊妹，请为我们祷告。

他们派人召集非利士的首领，说：“把以色列上帝的约柜送回原处吧，免得它杀害我们和我们的人民。”因为上帝重重地惩罚他们，全城都笼罩在死亡的恐惧中。那些没有死的人都饱受毒疮的折磨，城中的哭喊声上达于天。

于是，提幔人以利法、书亚人比勒达和拿玛人琐法遵命而行，耶和华悦纳了约伯的祷告。约伯为朋友们祷告后，耶和华恢复了他以前的昌盛，并且耶和华赐给他的比以前多一倍。

耶和华——以色列的圣者和创造主说：“你们就我子民将来的事质问我吗？你们发号施令要告诉我如何做吗？

“祈求，就会给你们；寻找，就会寻见；叩门，就会给你们开门。

耶和华憎恨恶人的祭物，悦纳正直人的祈祷。

“从撒母耳到后来的所有先知都宣告过这些日子。
