当上帝叫我离开父家、飘流在外的时候，我对她说：我们无论走到什么地方，你要对人说：‘他是我哥哥’，这就是你以慈爱待我了。”

And when God had me wander from my father’s household, I said to her,‘ This is how you can show your love to me: Everywhere we go, say of me,“ He is my brother.”’”

God had me wander away from my father’s house. So I said to her,‘ Here is how you can show your love to me. Everywhere we go, say about me,“ He’s my brother.” ’ ”

And when God caused me to wander from my father’s house, I said to her,‘ This is the kindness you must do me: at every place to which we come, say of me,“ He is my brother.”’”

When God called me to leave my father’s home and to travel from place to place, I told her,‘ Do me a favor. Wherever we go, tell the people that I am your brother.’”

So when God had me wander from my father’s house, I said to her: Show your loyalty to me wherever we go and say about me,‘ He’s my brother.’”

and it came about, when God caused me to wander from my father’s house, that I said to her,‘ This is the kindness which you will show to me: everywhere we go, say of me,“ He is my brother.” ’ ”

耶和华对亚伯兰说：“你要离开家乡、亲族和父亲的家，到我要指示你的地方去。

之后，亚伯兰继续前往南地。

他们狼狈为奸，商量暗设网罗，以为谁也看不见。

快要到埃及的时候，他对妻子撒莱说：“我知道你是个美貌的女子，埃及人看见你，一定会因为你是我的妻子而杀了我，让你活着。所以，请你说你是我的妹妹，这样他们会因为你而善待我，留我一命。”亚伯兰一行到了埃及，撒莱的美貌引起了埃及人的注意。法老的官员见了撒莱，就在法老面前称赞她的美貌，她便被带进法老的王宫。因为撒莱的缘故，法老厚待亚伯兰，赏给他许多牛、羊、驴、骆驼和仆婢。耶和华因亚伯兰妻子撒莱的缘故使法老和他全家患重病。法老便召见亚伯兰，说：“你做的是什么事？为什么不告诉我她是你妻子？为什么说她是你妹妹，以致我娶她为妻呢？现在你妻子在这里，带她走吧！”法老就吩咐人把亚伯兰、他妻子以及他所有的一切都送走了。

彼得说：“你们二人怎么串通起来试探主的灵呢？埋葬你丈夫的人就到门口了，他们也要把你抬出去。”

亚伯拉罕因为有信心，听到上帝的呼召后，就遵命前往他将要承受为产业的地方，但他出发的时候还不知道自己要去哪里。

‘你要离开家乡和亲族，到我要指示你的地方去。’亚伯拉罕就离开迦勒底人的地方，在哈兰住了下来。他父亲过世以后，上帝又领他到你们现在居住的这个地方。当时在这片土地上，上帝没有给他任何产业，他甚至连立足之地也没有。但上帝应许要把这片土地赐给他和他的后裔作产业，尽管那时候亚伯拉罕还没有儿子。

扫罗说：“愿耶和华赐福给你们！因为你们体恤我。
