Abraham replied,“ I thought,‘ There is absolutely no fear of God in this place. They will kill me because of my wife.’

亞伯拉罕回答：“因為我以為這地方必定沒有敬畏神的人，他們會因我妻子的緣故殺我。

亞伯拉罕說：『我心裏說，這地方總沒有畏懼上帝的心，總會為了我妻子的緣故來殺我。

亞伯拉罕回答：「因為我想這地方一定沒有敬畏神的人，他們會因我妻子的緣故殺了我。

亞伯拉罕曰、我意此邦不畏上帝、必緣我妻而殺我、

亞伯拉罕曰、我意此邦不畏上帝、恐為我妻而殺我。

亞伯拉罕曰、我意在此者不畏天主、恐緣我妻而殺我、

Abraham replied,“ I said to myself,‘ There is surely no fear of God in this place, and they will kill me because of my wife.’

Abraham replied,“ I thought,‘ There is no respect for God in this place. They will kill me because of my wife.’

Abraham said,“ I did it because I thought,‘ There is no fear of God at all in this place, and they will kill me because of my wife.’

Abraham replied,“ I thought,‘ This is a godless place. They will want my wife and will kill me to get her.’

Abraham said,“ Because I thought, surely there is no fear of God in this place, and they will kill me because of my wife.

And Abraham said,“ Because I thought, surely the fear of God is not in this place; and they will kill me on account of my wife.

And Abraham said, Because I thought, Surely the fear of God is not in this place; and they will slay me for my wife’s sake.

Abraham replied,“ I thought,‘ There is absolutely no fear of God in this place. They will kill me because of my wife.’

And Abraham said, Because I thought, Surely the fear of God[ is] not in this place; and they will slay me for my wife’s sake.

Abraham replied,“ Because I thought,‘ Surely no one fears God in this place. They will kill me because of my wife.’

Abraham said,“ Because I thought,‘ Surely the fear of God is not in this place. They will kill me for my wife’s sake.’

When the Egyptians see you, they will say,‘ This is his wife.’ They will kill me but let you live.

When the men of the place asked about his wife, he said,“ She is my sister,” for he was afraid to say“ my wife,” thinking,“ The men of the place will kill me on account of Rebekah, for she is a beautiful woman.”

Iniquity is atoned for by loyalty and faithfulness, and one turns from evil by the fear of the LORD.

The governors who preceded me had heavily burdened the people, taking from them food and wine as well as a pound of silver. Their subordinates also oppressed the people, but because of the fear of God, I didn’t do this.

On the third day Joseph said to them,“ I fear God— do this and you will live.

There was a man in the country of Uz named Job. He was a man of complete integrity, who feared God and turned away from evil.

then you will understand the fear of the LORD and discover the knowledge of God.

An oracle within my heart concerning the transgression of the wicked person: Dread of God has no effect on him.For with his flattering opinion of himself, he does not discover and hate his iniquity.The words from his mouth are malicious and deceptive; he has stopped acting wisely and doing good.Even on his bed he makes malicious plans. He sets himself on a path that is not good, and he does not reject evil.

There is no fear of God before their eyes.

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and discipline.
