“我们照着耶和华—我们上帝所吩咐的，从何烈山起行，经过你们所看见那一切大而可怕的旷野，往亚摩利人的山区去，到了加低斯‧巴尼亚。

亚伯兰带着他的妻子与罗得，以及一切所有的，从埃及上尼革夫去。

他们转回，来到安‧密巴，就是加低斯，击败了亚玛力全地的人，以及住在哈洗逊‧他玛的亚摩利人。

耶和华的声音震动旷野，耶和华震动加低斯的旷野。

基拉耳的牧人与以撒的牧人相争，说：“这水是我们的。”以撒就给那井起名叫埃色，因为他们和他相争。

那时，以撒住在尼革夫。他刚从庇耳‧拉海‧莱回来。
