天主之神造我、全能主之氣生我、

不為人手所事、亦不需一物、乃以生命呼吸萬物賜眾、

必汗流被面、始可得食、直至爾歸所出之土、爾本為土、必復歸於土、

因主知我之性情、念我不過塵土、

生氣尚在我身、天主所賜之呼吸、尚在我鼻、

首一人由地而出、乃屬地、後一人由天而出、即主也、

凡在陸地、有鼻可通呼吸者、咸就死亡、

耶和華天主故遣人出伊甸園、以耕所自出之土、

我則曰、爾何人、敢詰問天主乎、受造之物、豈能對造者云、何造我若此乎、

主有言論以色列、張天奠地、造人內靈氣之主曰、

毋恃世人、世人僅有鼻中出入之生氣、出入之生氣或作呼吸之氣何足算哉、

當知惟耶和華乃天主、創造我者乃主、並非自造、並非自造或作我儕乃歸主者我儕為主之民、為主所牧之羊、

摩西亞倫俯伏於地曰、天主賜生氣於一切身軀者、或作天主賜生命於凡有血氣者一人犯罪、而主震怒全會乎、

在天主前、爾我無異、我亦由土而成、

生我身之父、懲我而我敬之、況賦畀我神之父、豈不更當服之以致得永生乎、

言竟、向眾噓氣曰、爾受聖神、

人之靈性、乃主所賜之明燈、以照中懷所藏、

皆往一所、皆出於土、皆歸於土、孰知人之靈必升於上、獸之魂必降於下、

我知此我屬地之幕屋既壞、則有天主所造、非人手所造之屋、永遠在天、

我讚美主、因我受造甚奇可畏、主之作為奇異、我心亦深知之、我在暗中受造、在冥冥被聯絡、其時我之形體、未嘗隱於主、

裂有時、補有時、默有時、言有時、

但我有此寶藏於土器、使人知此莫大之能、非由我、乃由天主也、

況居於土舍、其基塵埃、為蟲所蝕者乎、

天主耶和華、賜生氣於一切身軀者、或作天主耶和華賜生命於凡有血氣者求立一人治理此會、
