The LORD God said,“ It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a companion for him who corresponds to him.”

耶和华神说：“那人独居不好，我要为他造一个配偶帮助他。”

耶和华上帝说：“那人单独一个不好，我要为他造一个配偶帮助他。”

耶和华神说：“那人单独一个不好，我要为他造一个配偶帮助他。”

耶和华上帝说：“那人独自一人不好，我要为他造一个相配的帮手。”

耶和华神说：“那人独居不好，我要为他造个和他相配的帮手。”

耶和华神又说：“那人孤身不好，我要为他造一个合适的帮助者。”

耶和華神說：「那人獨居不好，我要為他造一個配偶幫助他。」

耶和華上帝說：「那人單獨一個不好，我要為他造一個配偶幫助他。」

耶和華上帝說：「那人獨自一人不好，我要為他造一個相配的幫手。」

耶和華神說：“那人獨居不好，我要為他造個和他相配的幫手。”

永恆主上帝說：『那人獨居不好；我要為他造個幫助者做他的配偶。』

耶和華神又說：「那人孤身不好，我要為他造一個合適的幫助者。」

耶和華上帝曰、人獨處非善、我將作一相助者以配之、

耶和華上帝曰、不可使夫人獨處、必造一相助為理者。

耶和華天主曰、人獨處未善、我將為之作偶以助之、

The Lord God said,“ It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.”

The Lord God said,“ It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper who is just right for him.”

Then the Lord God said,“ It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him.”

Then the Lord God said,“ It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper who is just right for him.”

Then the LORD God said,“ It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper corresponding to him.”

Then the Lord God said,“ It is not good for the man to be alone; I will make him a helper suitable for him.”

And Jehovah God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a help meet for him.

Then the Lord God said,“ It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper as his complement.”

And the LORD God said,[ It is] not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.

Yahweh God said,“ It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make him a helper comparable to him.”

Two people are better than one, because they can reap more benefit from their labor.For if they fall, one will help his companion up, but pity the person who falls down and has no one to help him up.Furthermore, if two lie down together, they can keep each other warm, but how can one person keep warm by himself?Although an assailant may overpower one person, two can withstand him. Moreover, a three-stranded cord is not quickly broken.

For a man should not have his head covered, since he is the image and glory of God. But the woman is the glory of the man.For man did not come from woman, but woman from man.Neither was man created for the sake of woman, but woman for man.For this reason a woman should have a symbol of authority on her head, because of the angels.In any case, in the Lord woman is not independent of man, nor is man independent of woman.For just as woman came from man, so man comes through woman. But all things come from God.

Husbands, in the same way, treat your wives with consideration as the weaker partners and show them honor as fellow heirs of the grace of life. In this way nothing will hinder your prayers.

The one who finds a wife finds what is enjoyable, and receives a pleasurable gift from the LORD.

A woman must learn quietly with all submissiveness.But I do not allow a woman to teach or exercise authority over a man. She must remain quiet.For Adam was formed first and then Eve.

The man said,“ The woman whom you gave me, she gave me some fruit from the tree and I ate it.”
