耶和華天主諭人曰、園中各樹之果、爾可任意以食、

And the Lord God commanded the man,“ You are free to eat from any tree in the garden;

The Lord God gave the man a command. He said,“ You may eat fruit from any tree in the garden.

And the Lord God commanded the man, saying,“ You may surely eat of every tree of the garden,

But the Lord God warned him,“ You may freely eat the fruit of every tree in the garden—

And the LORD God commanded the man,“ You are free to eat from any tree of the garden,

Yahweh God commanded the man, saying,“ You may freely eat of every tree of the garden;

Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. (niv)

But Samuel replied:“ Does the Lord delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as in obeying the Lord? To obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed is better than the fat of rams. (niv)

The Lord God made all kinds of trees grow out of the ground— trees that were pleasing to the eye and good for food. In the middle of the garden were the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. (niv)

Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made. He said to the woman,“ Did God really say,‘ You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?”The woman said to the serpent,“ We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, (niv)

For everything God created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, (niv)
