所多瑪人在耶和華面前罪大惡極。

不可附和羣眾作惡；不可在訴訟中附和羣眾歪曲公正，作歪曲的見證；

他們若不行惡，難以成眠，不使人跌倒，就睡臥不安；

耶和華說：「所多瑪和蛾摩拉罪惡極其嚴重，控告他們的聲音很大。

他們雙手善於作惡，君王和審判官都索取賄賂；位高的人吐出心中的慾望，彼此勾結。

他們的腳為殺人流血飛跑；

以色列全會眾在曠野向摩西和亞倫發怨言。

就是先知說假預言，祭司把權柄抓在自己手上，我的百姓也喜愛這樣，到了結局你們要怎麼辦呢？

圖謀惡計的心，飛奔行惡的腳，

祭司長和長老挑唆眾人，要求釋放巴拉巴，除掉耶穌。總督回答他們說：「這兩個人，你們要我釋放哪一個給你們呢？」他們說：「巴拉巴。」彼拉多說：「這樣，那稱為基督的耶穌我怎麼辦他呢？」他們都說：「把他釘十字架！」總督說：「為甚麼？他做了甚麼惡事呢？」他們更加喊着說：「把他釘十字架！」彼拉多見說也無濟於事，反要生亂，就拿水在眾人面前洗手，說：「流這人的血，罪不在我，你們承當吧。」眾人都回答：「他的血歸到我們和我們的子孫身上！」

你們要走遍耶路撒冷的街市，在廣場尋找，看是否有人行公平、求誠實；若有，我就赦免這城。雖然他們說「我對永生的耶和華發誓」，所起的誓實在是假的。耶和華啊，你的眼目不是在尋找誠實嗎？你擊打他們，他們卻不傷慟；你摧毀他們，他們仍不領受管教。他們使臉剛硬過於磐石，不肯回頭。我說：「這些人實在是貧寒的，他們是愚昧的，因為不知道耶和華的作為，也不知道他們上帝的法則。我要去見尊貴的人，向他們說話，他們應該知道耶和華的作為，知道他們上帝的法則。」然而，這些人卻齊心將軛折斷，掙開繩索。因此，林中的獅子必害死他們，野地的狼必滅絕他們，豹子在城外窺伺。凡出城的必被撕碎，因為他們的罪過極多，背道的事也增加。
