所多玛人在耶和华面前罪大恶极。

不可随众行恶；不可在争讼的事上随众偏行，作见证屈枉正直；

这等人若不行恶，不得睡觉；不使人跌倒，睡卧不安；

耶和华说：“所多玛和蛾摩拉的罪恶甚重，声闻于我。

他们双手作恶；君王徇情面，审判官要贿赂；位分大的吐出恶意，都彼此结联行恶。

杀人流血，他们的脚飞跑，

以色列全会众在旷野向摩西、亚伦发怨言，

就是先知说假预言，祭司藉他们把持权柄；我的百姓也喜爱这些事，到了结局你们怎样行呢？”

图谋恶计的心，飞跑行恶的脚，

祭司长和长老挑唆众人，求释放巴拉巴，除灭耶稣。巡抚对众人说：“这两个人，你们要我释放哪一个给你们呢？”他们说：“巴拉巴。”彼拉多说：“这样，那称为基督的耶稣我怎么办他呢？”他们都说：“把他钉十字架！”巡抚说：“为什么呢？他做了什么恶事呢？”他们便极力地喊着说：“把他钉十字架！”彼拉多见说也无济于事，反要生乱，就拿水在众人面前洗手，说：“流这义人的血，罪不在我，你们承当吧。”众人都回答说：“他的血归到我们和我们的子孙身上。”

“你们当在耶路撒冷的街上跑来跑去，在宽阔处寻找，看看有一人行公义求诚实没有？若有，我就赦免这城。其中的人虽然指着永生的耶和华起誓，所起的誓实在是假的。”耶和华啊，你的眼目不是看顾诚实吗？你击打他们，他们却不伤恸；你毁灭他们，他们仍不受惩治。他们使脸刚硬过于磐石，不肯回头。我说：这些人实在是贫穷的，是愚昧的，因为不晓得耶和华的作为和他们神的法则。我要去见尊大的人，对他们说话，因为他们晓得耶和华的作为和他们神的法则。哪知，这些人齐心将轭折断，挣开绳索。因此，林中的狮子必害死他们；晚上的豺狼必灭绝他们；豹子要在城外窥伺他们。凡出城的必被撕碎；因为他们的罪过极多，背道的事也加增了。
