谁有灾祸？谁有忧伤？谁有争吵？谁有怨言？谁无故受伤？谁两眼发红？就是那些沉迷醉乡，品尝醇和之酒的人！虽然鲜红的酒在杯中闪烁，喝下去痛快，但不要盯着它。它终必像蛇一样伤你，像毒蛇一样咬你。你的眼会看见怪异的景象，你会神智不清，胡言乱语。你好像躺在怒海中，又像卧在桅杆顶上。你会说：“人打我，我不痛；人揍我，我不知。什么时候醒了，再干一杯！”

酒使人放肆，烈酒叫人吵闹。因酒误事，实为不智。

“你们任何人不可与近亲乱伦。我是耶和华。不可与你母亲乱伦而羞辱你父亲。她是你的母亲，不可与她乱伦。

“用酒灌醉邻居以观看他们祼体的人啊，你们有祸了！你们必饱受羞辱，毫无荣耀。你们喝吧，露出下体吧！耶和华右手中的杯将传给你们，你们的荣耀将变成羞辱。
