And he said, If I find there forty and five, I will not destroy[ it].And he spake unto him yet again, and said, Peradventure there shall be forty found there. And he said, I will not do[ it] for forty’s sake.And he said[ unto him], Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak: Peradventure there shall thirty be found there. And he said, I will not do[ it], if I find thirty there.And he said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the Lord: Peradventure there shall be twenty found there. And he said, I will not destroy[ it] for twenty’s sake.And he said, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak yet but this once: Peradventure ten shall be found there. And he said, I will not destroy[ it] for ten’s sake.And the LORD went his way, as soon as he had left communing with Abraham: and Abraham returned unto his place.

Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions: according to thy mercy remember thou me for thy goodness’ sake, O LORD.

Who remembered us in our low estate: for his mercy[ endureth] for ever:

And I commanded the Levites that they should cleanse themselves, and[ that] they should come[ and] keep the gates, to sanctify the sabbath day. Remember me, O my God,[ concerning] this also, and spare me according to the greatness of thy mercy.

And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:

The LORD preserveth all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy.

How shall I give thee up, Ephraim?[ how] shall I deliver thee, Israel? how shall I make thee as Admah?[ how] shall I set thee as Zeboim? mine heart is turned within me, my repentings are kindled together.

Remember me, O my God, concerning this, and wipe not out my good deeds that I have done for the house of my God, and for the offices thereof.

And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:

And God remembered Rachel, and God hearkened to her, and opened her womb.

Remember me, O LORD, with the favour[ that thou bearest unto] thy people: O visit me with thy salvation;

He hath remembered his covenant for ever, the word[ which] he commanded to a thousand generations.
