亞伯拉罕近前來，說：「無論善惡，你都要剿滅嗎？假若那城裏有五十個義人，你還剿滅那地方嗎？不為城裏這五十個義人饒恕其中的人嗎？將義人與惡人同殺，將義人與惡人一樣看待，這斷不是你所行的。審判全地的主豈不行公義嗎？」耶和華說：「我若在所多瑪城裏見有五十個義人，我就為他們的緣故饒恕那地方的眾人。」亞伯拉罕說：「我雖然是灰塵，還敢對主說話。假若這五十個義人短了五個，你就因為短了五個毀滅全城嗎？」他說：「我在那裏若見有四十五個，也不毀滅那城。」亞伯拉罕又對他說：「假若在那裏見有四十個怎麼樣呢？」他說：「為這四十個的緣故，我也不做這事。」亞伯拉罕說：「求主不要動怒，容我說，假若在那裏見有三十個怎麼樣呢？」他說：「我在那裏若見有三十個，我也不做這事。」亞伯拉罕說：「我還敢對主說話，假若在那裏見有二十個怎麼樣呢？」他說：「為這二十個的緣故，我也不毀滅那城。」亞伯拉罕說：「求主不要動怒，我再說這一次，假若在那裏見有十個呢？」他說：「為這十個的緣故，我也不毀滅那城。」耶和華與亞伯拉罕說完了話就走了；亞伯拉罕也回到自己的地方去了。

求你不要記念我幼年的罪愆和我的過犯；耶和華啊，求你因你的恩惠，按你的慈愛記念我。

他顧念我們在卑微的地步，因他的慈愛永遠長存。

我吩咐利未人潔淨自己，來守城門，使安息日為聖。我的神啊，求你因這事記念我，照你的大慈愛憐恤我。

這都因他記念他的聖言和他的僕人亞伯拉罕。

那時，你們必追想你們的惡行和你們不善的作為，就因你們的罪孽和可憎的事厭惡自己。主耶和華說：你們要知道，我這樣行不是為你們。以色列家啊，當為自己的行為抱愧蒙羞。

只搭救了那常為惡人淫行憂傷的義人羅得。（

耶和華保護一切愛他的人，卻要滅絕一切的惡人。

以法蓮哪，我怎能捨棄你？以色列啊，我怎能棄絕你？我怎能使你如押瑪？怎能使你如洗扁？我回心轉意，我的憐愛大大發動。

我的神啊，求你因這事記念我，不要塗抹我為神的殿與其中的禮節所行的善。

我必叫你成為大國。我必賜福給你，叫你的名為大；你也要叫別人得福。

神顧念拉結，應允了她，使她能生育。

耶和華啊，你用恩惠待你的百姓；求你也用這恩惠記念我，開你的救恩眷顧我，
