他使肥沃的土地變為鹹田，都因住在那裡的居民的邪惡。

他們再一次說：“哈利路亞！燒淫婦的煙往上冒，直到永永遠遠！”

只是那些膽怯的、不信的、可憎的、殺人的、淫亂的、行邪術的、拜偶像的和所有說謊的人，他們的分是在燒著硫磺的火湖裡。這就是第二次的死。”

他就必定喝神烈怒的酒：這酒是斟在神震怒的杯中，純一不雜的。他必定在眾天使和羊羔面前，在火與硫磺之中受痛苦。他們受痛苦的煙往上冒，直到永永遠遠。那些拜獸和獸像的，以及接受牠名字的記號的人，日夜得不到安息。”

他們看見了焚燒她的煙，就喊叫說：‘有哪一座城能與這大城相比呢？’
