那一位對他說：『你看，就是對這事、我也給你面子；你所說的這城、我也不覆滅。

天使对他说：“这事我也应允你；我不倾覆你所说的这城。

天使对他说：“看哪，这事我也应允你，不倾覆你所说的这城。

天使对他说：“看哪，这事我也应允你，不倾覆你所说的这城。

天使回答说：“好吧，我答应你，不毁灭那座小城。

有一位天使对他说：“这事我也答应你，你所说的这城，我必不倾覆。

天使对他说：“看哪，这事我也答应你，不会倾覆你所说的这城。

天使對他說：「這事我也應允你；我不傾覆你所說的這城。

天使對他說：「看哪，這事我也應允你，不傾覆你所說的這城。

天使對他說：「看哪，這事我也應允你，不傾覆你所說的這城。

天使回答說：「好吧，我答應你，不毀滅那座小城。

有一位天使對他說：“這事我也答應你，你所說的這城，我必不傾覆。

天使對他說：「看哪，這事我也答應你，不會傾覆你所說的這城。

曰、斯事我亦允爾、所言之邑、我不翦滅、

曰許汝所求、爾所言之邑、我不翦滅。

曰、此事我亦允爾、不滅爾所言之邑、

He said to him,“ Very well, I will grant this request too; I will not overthrow the town you speak of.

The Lord said to Lot,“ All right. I will also give you what you are asking for. I will not destroy the town you are talking about.

He said to him,“ Behold, I grant you this favor also, that I will not overthrow the city of which you have spoken.

“ All right,” the angel said,“ I will grant your request. I will not destroy the little village.

And he said to him,“ All right, I’ll grant your request about this matter too and will not demolish the town you mentioned.

And he said to him,“ Behold, I grant you this request also, not to overthrow the town of which you have spoken.

And he said to him,“ See, I have favored you concerning this thing also, in that I will not overthrow this city for which you have spoken.

And he said unto him, See, I have accepted thee concerning this thing also, that I will not overthrow the city of which thou hast spoken.

And he said to him,“ All right, I’ll grant your request about this matter too and will not demolish the town you mentioned.

And he said unto him, See, I have accepted thee concerning this thing also, that I will not overthrow this city, for the which thou hast spoken.

“ Very well,” he replied,“ I will grant this request too and will not overthrow the town you mentioned.

He said to him,“ Behold, I have granted your request concerning this thing also, that I will not overthrow the city of which you have spoken.

永恆主的眼向着義人，他的耳側向他們的呼救。

現在你們要取七隻公牛、七隻公綿羊、到我僕人約伯那裏，為你們自己獻上燔祭；我僕人約伯就要為你們祈禱；因為我不按你們的冥頑不靈來辦你們，是看他的情面的；因為你們議論到我、不如我僕人約伯說的正確。』於是提幔人以利法、書亞人比勒達、拿瑪人瑣法就去，照永恆主所吩咐他們的去行；永恆主就看了約伯的情面。

他必垂顧到窮苦人的禱告；並不藐視他們所懇求的。

敬畏他的、他必成就他們的心願；必聽他們的呼救聲，來拯救他們。

我告訴你們，他縱然不因他是朋友而起來給他，也要因了他那不顧一切的懇求而起來，把他所需用的給他呀。

假使你行得對，哪有不抬起頭來的？你若行得不對，罪就伏在門前了；它渴想要引誘你，你卻可以管制它！』

『我必使你成為大國；我必給你祝福，使你的名尊大；成為祝福的口頭語：

永恆主論這人民是這麼說的：『這人民怎樣喜愛飄流，不檢束腳步；因此永恆主不悅納他們，他現在就要記起他們的罪孽來，並察罰他們的罪了。』

因為我們的大祭司並不是一位不能同情於我們的種種軟弱的，乃是一位在各方面同樣受過試誘、卻沒有罪的。所以我們只管坦然無懼進到恩惠之寶座前，好領受憐憫，取得恩惠、做及時的援助。

萬一城中有五十個義人呢，你還真地要掃滅，也不為了其中五十個義人的緣故而饒了那地方麼？

壓傷的蘆葦、他必不折斷；發煙的殘麻、他必不撲滅，直到他推行正義、至於勝利；

所以他應該在各方面被形成為和弟兄們一樣，好在關於上帝的事上做能憐恤人而可信靠的大祭司，永為人民的罪做除罪祭。
