既出、謂之曰、爾其遁逃、以全生命、毋返顧、毋止平原、宜避於山、免爾滅亡、

既導之出外、乃曰、爾當逃遁、以保全生命、毋回顧、毋止平原、當遁於山、免爾滅亡、

“ then those in Judea must flee to the mountains.A man on the housetop must not come down to get things out of his house,and a man in the field must not go back to get his coat.

But Lot’s wife looked back and became a pillar of salt.

But Jesus said to him,“ No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for the kingdom of God.”

Hurry up! Run to it, for I cannot do anything until you get there.” Therefore the name of the city is Zoar.

Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and reaching forward to what is ahead,I pursue as my goal the prize promised by God’s heavenly call in Christ Jesus.

On that day, a man on the housetop, whose belongings are in the house, must not come down to get them. Likewise the man who is in the field must not turn back.Remember Lot’s wife!

When he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to his baptism, he said to them,“ Brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the coming wrath?

Lot looked out and saw that the entire plain of the Jordan as far as Zoar was well watered everywhere like the LORD’s garden and the land of Egypt.( This was before the LORD destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah.)

Flee! Save your lives! Be like a juniper bush in the wilderness.

Then Elijah became afraid and immediately ran for his life. When he came to Beer-sheba that belonged to Judah, he left his servant there,

I lift my eyes toward the mountains. Where will my help come from?

So Lot went out and spoke to his sons-in-law, who were going to marry his daughters.“ Get up,” he said.“ Get out of this place, for the LORD is about to destroy the city!” But his sons-in-law thought he was joking.At daybreak the angels urged Lot on:“ Get up! Take your wife and your two daughters who are here, or you will be swept away in the punishment of the city.”

Saul sent agents to David’s house to watch for him and kill him in the morning. But his wife Michal warned David,“ If you don’t escape tonight, you will be dead tomorrow!”

The men turned from there and went toward Sodom while Abraham remained standing before the LORD.

how will we escape if we neglect such a great salvation? This salvation had its beginning when it was spoken of by the Lord, and it was confirmed to us by those who heard him.
