When he hesitated, the men grasped his hand and the hands of his wife and of his two daughters and led them safely out of the city, for the Lord was merciful to them.

Lot didn’t move right away. So the men grabbed him by the hand. They also took hold of the hands of his wife and two daughters. They led all of them safely out of the city. The Lord had mercy on them.

But he lingered. So the men seized him and his wife and his two daughters by the hand, the Lord being merciful to him, and they brought him out and set him outside the city.

When Lot still hesitated, the angels seized his hand and the hands of his wife and two daughters and rushed them to safety outside the city, for the Lord was merciful.

因为他对摩西说：“我要怜悯谁，就怜悯谁；我要恩待谁，就恩待谁。”这样看来，既不是出于人意，也不是由于人为（“人为”原文作“奔走”或“奔跑”），只在于那怜悯人的神。

主知道怎样搭救敬虔的人脱离试探，又把不义的人留下来，等候在审判的日子受刑罚，

你们要称谢耶和华，因他本是良善的，他的慈爱永远长存。

因为耶和华你的神原是满有怜悯的神，他必不丢弃你，不毁灭你，也不忘记他起誓与你的列祖所立的约。

谁喜爱生命，爱慕长寿，享受美福，

但他因自己的名的缘故拯救他们，为要彰显他的大能。

他就救了我们，并不是由于我们所行的义，而是照着他的怜悯，藉着重生的洗和圣灵的更新。

他使人记念他所行的奇事；耶和华有恩典，有怜悯。

耶和华在摩西面前经过，并且宣告说：“耶和华，耶和华，是有怜悯有恩典的神，不轻易发怒，并且有丰盛的慈爱和诚实，

我们主耶稣基督的父神是应当称颂的。他是满有怜悯的父，赐各样安慰的神。

税吏却远远站着，连举目望天也不敢，只捶着胸说：‘神啊，可怜我这个罪人！’

但是，主啊！你是有怜悯有恩典的神，你不轻易发怒，并且有极大的慈爱和信实。

他不再是敌对者，并且他面前的使者拯救了他们。他以自己的爱和怜悯救赎了他们；在古时的一切日子，他背负他们，怀抱他们。

你们要称谢耶和华，因他本是良善的；他的慈爱永远长存。

我赶快谨守你的命令，不敢耽延。

‘耶和华不轻易发怒，且有丰盛的慈爱；他赦免罪孽和过犯；绝不以有罪的为无罪，必追讨罪孽，自父到子，直到三四代。’

你们要称谢耶和华，因他是良善的，他的慈爱永远常存。

主啊！你是良善，又乐意饶恕人的，向你呼求的，你都以丰盛的慈爱待他们。

你们要称谢耶和华，因他本是良善的；他的慈爱永远长存。

耶和华有怜悯，有恩典，不轻易发怒，并且有丰盛的慈爱。他不长久责备，也不永远怀怒。他没有按着我们的罪过待我们，也没有照着我们的罪孽报应我们。

你们要赞美耶和华。你们要称谢耶和华，因为他是美善的；他的慈爱永远长存。

耶和华的慈爱永不断绝，他的怜悯永不止息。

如果不是差我来的父吸引人，就没有人能到我这里来；到我这里来的，在末日我要使他复活。

然而神满有怜悯，因着他爱我们的大爱，就在我们因过犯死了的时候，使我们与基督一同活过来，（你们得救是靠着恩典，）

父亲怎样怜恤儿子，耶和华也照样怜恤敬畏他的人；

有何神像你，赦免罪孽，不追究产业之余民的过犯呢？他不永远怀怒，因为他喜爱怜悯。他必再怜爱我们，把我们的罪孽都践踏在脚下，又把我们（按照《马索拉文本》，“我们”作“他们”；现参照其他抄本、《七十士译本》和其他古译本翻译）的一切罪恶都投在深海里。

你们要爱仇敌，善待他们；借出去，不要指望偿还；这样你们的赏赐就大了，你们也必作至高者的儿子，因为神自己也宽待忘恩的和恶人。你们要仁慈像你们的父仁慈一样。

约书亚对窥探那地的两个人说：“你们进那妓女的家里去，照着你们向她所起的誓，把那女人和她所有的一切，都从家里带出来。”

这样看来，他愿意怜悯谁就怜悯谁，愿意谁刚硬就使谁刚硬。
