The two angels arrived at Sodom in the evening, and Lot was sitting in the gateway of the city. When he saw them, he got up to meet them and bowed down with his face to the ground.

後來耶和華在幔利的橡樹那裡向亞伯拉罕顯現。那時是白天最熱的時候，亞伯拉罕正坐在帳篷的入口。他舉目觀看，看哪，有三個人在他對面站著！他一看見，就從帳篷的入口跑去迎接他們，俯伏於地，說：「我主啊，如果我在你眼前蒙恩，請不要路過你的僕人就走。請讓我拿點水來，你們可以洗洗腳，在樹底下休息。我也拿點餅來，你們可以恢復精力，然後再走；你們既然路過僕人這裡，就理當如此。」他們說：「就照著你說的去做吧。」

不要忘記款待客旅，因為曾經有些人這樣做，在無意中就招待了天使。
