把那肥牛犢牽來宰了，我們來吃喝慶祝；

王又打發別的僕人，說：『你們去告訴那被邀的人，我的宴席已經預備好了，牛和肥畜已經宰了，各樣都齊備，請你們來赴宴。』

「那些躺臥在象牙床上，舒身在榻上的，吃羣中的羔羊和棚裏的牛犢。

瑪挪亞對耶和華的使者說：「請容許我們留你下來，好為你預備一隻小山羊。」耶和華的使者對瑪挪亞說：「你雖然留我，我卻不吃你的食物。你若預備燔祭，就當獻給耶和華。」因瑪挪亞不知道他是耶和華的使者。

行詭詐的人是可詛咒的！他的羣畜中雖有公羊，他許了願，卻將有殘疾的獻給主。因我是大君王，我的名在列國中是可畏的。這是萬軍之耶和華說的。」

羅得懇切地請他們，他們就轉向他，進到他屋裏。羅得為他們預備宴席，烤無酵餅，他們就吃了。
