王又打发别的仆人，说：‘你们去告诉那被邀的人，我的宴席已经预备好了，牛和肥畜已经宰了，各样都齐备，请你们来赴宴。’

“那些躺卧在象牙床上，舒身在榻上的，吃群中的羔羊和棚里的牛犊。

玛挪亚对耶和华的使者说：“请容许我们留你下来，好为你预备一只小山羊。”耶和华的使者对玛挪亚说：“你虽然留我，我却不吃你的食物。你若预备燔祭，就当献给耶和华。”因玛挪亚不知道他是耶和华的使者。

行诡诈的人是可诅咒的！他的群畜中虽有公羊，他许了愿，却将有残疾的献给主。因我是大君王，我的名在列国中是可畏的。这是万军之耶和华说的。”

罗得恳切地请他们，他们就转向他，进到他屋里。罗得为他们预备宴席，烤无酵饼，他们就吃了。
