How terrible for you who sprawl on ivory beds and lounge on your couches, eating the meat of tender lambs from the flock and of choice calves fattened in the stall.

Then Manoah said to the angel of the Lord,“ Please stay here until we can prepare a young goat for you to eat.”“ I will stay,” the angel of the Lord replied,“ but I will not eat anything. However, you may prepare a burnt offering as a sacrifice to the Lord.”( Manoah didn’t realize it was the angel of the Lord.)

“ Cursed is the cheat who promises to give a fine ram from his flock but then sacrifices a defective one to the Lord. For I am a great king,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies,“ and my name is feared among the nations!

But Lot insisted, so at last they went home with him. Lot prepared a feast for them, complete with fresh bread made without yeast, and they ate.
