把那隻肥牛犢牽來宰；我們喫喝快樂吧！

他又差遣別的奴僕，說：「要告訴那些被請的人說：看哪，我的筵席我已經豫備好了；我的公牛和肥畜已經宰了，百物齊備了，來赴婚筵吧！」

有禍啊那些躺在象牙床上，在床榻上伸着懶腰，喫羣中現挑的羊羔，和棚間之肥牛犢的！

瑪挪亞對永恆主的使者說：『請容我們款留你，好豫備一隻母山羊羔在你面前。』永恆主的使者對瑪挪亞說：「你雖款留我，我也不喫你的食物；你若豫備燔祭，就該獻上與永恆主。」原來瑪挪亞不知道他是永恆主的使者。

可咒詛啊、行詐騙的人！他的羣中有公的；他也許過願了，卻用有損壞的祭獻給主！其實我是至大的王，萬軍之永恆主說：我的名在列國中是可畏懼的啊。

羅得極力地逼着他們，他們才轉身，來到他家裏。羅得給他們辦筵席，烤無酵餅；他們就喫。
