把那隻養肥的牛犢牽來宰殺了，讓我們吃喝、慶祝吧！

王又派了別的奴僕，說：『你們去對那些被邀請的人說，看哪，我的午餐我已經預備好了，公牛和肥畜已經宰殺了，一切都預備好了，請你們來赴婚宴。』

萬軍之耶和華說：「行詭詐的人是受詛咒的——他的畜群中雖有無瑕疵的公畜，他也已經許願要獻上，卻把有瑕疵的動物祭獻給主！要知道，我是大君王，我的名在列國中是可畏的。」

但羅得極力勸說他們，他們才轉往他那裡，進了他的家。羅得為他們預備宴席，烤了無酵餅，他們就吃了。
