王再派其他奴仆去，说，‘去告诉被邀请的人，我的宴席已经备好，公牛和肥畜都宰了，一切都预备妥当，来赴婚宴吧！’

你们躺在象牙床上，靠在卧榻上，你们吃养在圈里的肥嫩牛羊。

玛挪亚说：“请你留下来，我们要预备一只山羊羔给你吃。”当时，玛挪亚仍然不知道那人是耶和华的天使。天使说：“我就是留下来也不会吃你预备的食物。如果你预备燔祭，就把它献给耶和华吧！”

许愿时说要献上羊群中的公羊，后来却拿伤残的来献给主，这种人该受咒诅！因为我是大君王，就是外族人也敬畏我的名。这是万军之耶和华说的。”

罗得执意邀请他们，他们便答应到他家里作客。罗得设宴款待他们，烤无酵饼给他们吃。
