Finally Abraham said,“ May the Lord not be angry so that I may speak just once more. What if ten are found there?” He replied,“ I will not destroy it for the sake of the ten.”

亚伯拉罕说：“求主不要动怒，我再说这一次，假若在那里见有十个呢？”他说：“为这十个的缘故，我也不毁灭那城。”

亚伯拉罕说：“求主不要生气，我再说一次，假若在那里找到十个呢？”他说：“为这十个的缘故，我也不毁灭。”

亚伯拉罕说：“求主不要生气，我再说一次，假若在那里找到十个呢？”他说：“为这十个的缘故，我也不毁灭。”

亚伯拉罕又说：“求主不要发怒，让我问最后一次，倘若在那里只找到十个义人呢？”耶和华说：“为了那十个人的缘故，我也不会毁灭那城。”

亚伯拉罕说：“请我主不要动怒，容我问这最后的一次，假如在那里找到十个呢？”他回答：“我因这十个的缘故，也不毁灭那城。”

亚伯拉罕再次说：“请我主不要恼火，容我说最后一次，假如在那里找到十个呢？”耶和华说：“因这十个的缘故，我也不会毁灭那城。”

亞伯拉罕說：「求主不要動怒，我再說這一次，假若在那裏見有十個呢？」他說：「為這十個的緣故，我也不毀滅那城。」

亞伯拉罕說：『求主不要發怒，容我再說一句：就只這一次：萬一在那裏只見有十個呢？』他說：『因這十個的緣故，我也不毁滅。』

亞伯拉罕再次說：「請我主不要惱火，容我說最後一次，假如在那裡找到十個呢？」耶和華說：「因這十個的緣故，我也不會毀滅那城。」

曰、願主毋怒、容我言之、惟此一次、假令十人、則何如、曰、緣十人、吾亦弗滅、

曰主毋怒、敢復進一辭而後已、或止十人、則何如。曰、十人吾亦弗滅。

曰、求主毋怒、我惟此一言、若邑中遇十人則何如、曰、緣十人我亦不滅、

Then he said,“ May the Lord not be angry, but let me speak just once more. What if only ten can be found there?” He answered,“ For the sake of ten, I will not destroy it.”

Then he said,“ Lord, please don’t be angry with me. Let me speak just one more time. What if only ten can be found there?” He answered,“ If I find ten, I will not destroy it.”

Then he said,“ Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak again but this once. Suppose ten are found there.” He answered,“ For the sake of ten I will not destroy it.”

Finally, Abraham said,“ Lord, please don’t be angry with me if I speak one more time. Suppose only ten are found there?” And the Lord replied,“ Then I will not destroy it for the sake of the ten.”

Then he said,“ Let my lord not be angry, and I will speak one more time. Suppose ten are found there?” He answered,“ I will not destroy it on account of ten.”

Then he said,“ Oh may the Lord not be angry, and I shall speak only this once: suppose ten are found there?” And He said,“ I will not destroy it on account of the ten.”

Then he said,“ Let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak but once more: Suppose ten should be found there?” And He said,“ I will not destroy it for the sake of ten.”

And he said, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak yet but this once: peradventure ten shall be found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for the ten’s sake.

Then he said,“ Let the Lord not be angry, and I will speak one more time. Suppose 10 are found there?” He answered,“ I will not destroy it on account of 10.”

And he said, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak yet but this once: Peradventure ten shall be found there. And he said, I will not destroy[ it] for ten’s sake.

He said,“ Oh don’t let the Lord be angry, and I will speak just once more. What if ten are found there?” He said,“ I will not destroy it for the ten’s sake.”

Gideon said to God,“ Please do not get angry at me, when I ask for just one more sign. Please allow me one more test with the fleece. This time make only the fleece dry, while the ground around it is covered with dew.”

And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick and the Lord will raise him up– and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.So confess your sins to one another and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great effectiveness.Elijah was a human being like us, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain and there was no rain on the land for three years and six months!

“ Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened for you.

And if we know that he hears us in regard to whatever we ask, then we know that we have the requests that we have asked from him.If anyone sees his fellow Christian committing a sin not resulting in death, he should ask, and God will grant life to the person who commits a sin not resulting in death. There is a sin resulting in death. I do not say that he should ask about that.

Then the LORD relented over the evil that he had said he would do to his people.

and said,“ If now I have found favor in your sight, O Lord, let my Lord go among us, for we are a stiff-necked people; pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us for your inheritance.”He said,“ See, I am going to make a covenant before all your people. I will do wonders such as have not been done in all the earth, nor in any nation. All the people among whom you live will see the work of the LORD, for it is a fearful thing that I am doing with you.

The LORD passed by before him and proclaimed:“ The LORD, the LORD, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, and abounding in loyal love and faithfulness,keeping loyal love for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin. But he by no means leaves the guilty unpunished, responding to the transgression of fathers by dealing with children and children’s children, to the third and fourth generation.”

The LORD abhors the sacrifices of the wicked, but the prayer of the upright pleases him.

The LORD said to Moses,“ How long will this people despise me, and how long will they not believe in me, in spite of the signs that I have done among them?I will strike them with the pestilence, and I will disinherit them; I will make you into a nation that is greater and mightier than they!”Moses said to the LORD,“ When the Egyptians hear it– for you brought up this people by your power from among them–then they will tell it to the inhabitants of this land. They have heard that you, LORD, are among this people, that you, LORD, are seen face to face, that your cloud stands over them, and that you go before them by day in a pillar of cloud and in a pillar of fire by night.If you kill this entire people at once, then the nations that have heard of your fame will say,‘ Because the LORD was not able to bring this people into the land that he swore to them, he killed them in the wilderness.’So now, let the power of my Lord be great, just as you have said,‘ The LORD is slow to anger and abounding in loyal love, forgiving iniquity and transgression, but by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children until the third and fourth generations.’Please forgive the iniquity of this people according to your great loyal love, just as you have forgiven this people from Egypt even until now.”Then the LORD said,“ I have forgiven them as you asked.

This is what the LORD says:“ When juice is discovered in a cluster of grapes, someone says,‘ Don’t destroy it, for it contains juice.’ So I will do for the sake of my servants– I will not destroy everyone.

There is no other God like you! You forgive sin and pardon the rebellion of those who remain among your people. You do not remain angry forever, but delight in showing loyal love.

Certainly O Lord, you are kind and forgiving, and show great faithfulness to all who cry out to you.

Then Abraham said,“ May the Lord not be angry so that I may speak! What if thirty are found there?” He replied,“ I will not do it if I find thirty there.”

If there is an angel beside him, one mediator out of a thousand, to tell a person what constitutes his uprightness;

Now to him who by the power that is working within us is able to do far beyond all that we ask or think,

Then the LORD said to Moses:“ I have seen this people. Look what a stiff-necked people they are!So now, leave me alone so that my anger can burn against them and I can destroy them, and I will make from you a great nation.”

Now if I have found favor in your sight, show me your way, that I may know you, that I may continue to find favor in your sight. And see that this nation is your people.”And the LORD said,“ My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”

“ I, the LORD, officially commission you; I take hold of your hand. I protect you and make you a covenant mediator for people, and a light to the nations,to open blind eyes, to release prisoners from dungeons, those who live in darkness from prisons.
