Then he said,“ Let my lord not be angry, and I will speak one more time. Suppose ten are found there?” He answered,“ I will not destroy it on account of ten.”

亚伯拉罕说：“求主不要动怒，我再说这一次，假若在那里见有十个呢？”他说：“为这十个的缘故，我也不毁灭那城。”

亚伯拉罕说：“求主不要生气，我再说一次，假若在那里找到十个呢？”他说：“为这十个的缘故，我也不毁灭。”

亚伯拉罕说：“求主不要生气，我再说一次，假若在那里找到十个呢？”他说：“为这十个的缘故，我也不毁灭。”

亚伯拉罕又说：“求主不要发怒，让我问最后一次，倘若在那里只找到十个义人呢？”耶和华说：“为了那十个人的缘故，我也不会毁灭那城。”

亚伯拉罕说：“请我主不要动怒，容我问这最后的一次，假如在那里找到十个呢？”他回答：“我因这十个的缘故，也不毁灭那城。”

亚伯拉罕再次说：“请我主不要恼火，容我说最后一次，假如在那里找到十个呢？”耶和华说：“因这十个的缘故，我也不会毁灭那城。”

亞伯拉罕再次說：「請我主不要惱火，容我說最後一次，假如在那裡找到十個呢？」耶和華說：「因這十個的緣故，我也不會毀滅那城。」

曰、願主毋怒、容我言之、惟此一次、假令十人、則何如、曰、緣十人、吾亦弗滅、

曰主毋怒、敢復進一辭而後已、或止十人、則何如。曰、十人吾亦弗滅。

曰、求主毋怒、我惟此一言、若邑中遇十人則何如、曰、緣十人我亦不滅、

Then he said,“ May the Lord not be angry, but let me speak just once more. What if only ten can be found there?” He answered,“ For the sake of ten, I will not destroy it.”

Then he said,“ Lord, please don’t be angry with me. Let me speak just one more time. What if only ten can be found there?” He answered,“ If I find ten, I will not destroy it.”

Then he said,“ Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak again but this once. Suppose ten are found there.” He answered,“ For the sake of ten I will not destroy it.”

Finally, Abraham said,“ Lord, please don’t be angry with me if I speak one more time. Suppose only ten are found there?” And the Lord replied,“ Then I will not destroy it for the sake of the ten.”

Then he said,“ Oh may the Lord not be angry, and I shall speak only this once: suppose ten are found there?” And He said,“ I will not destroy it on account of the ten.”

Then he said,“ Let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak but once more: Suppose ten should be found there?” And He said,“ I will not destroy it for the sake of ten.”

And he said, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak yet but this once: peradventure ten shall be found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for the ten’s sake.

Then he said,“ Let the Lord not be angry, and I will speak one more time. Suppose 10 are found there?” He answered,“ I will not destroy it on account of 10.”

And he said, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak yet but this once: Peradventure ten shall be found there. And he said, I will not destroy[ it] for ten’s sake.

Finally Abraham said,“ May the Lord not be angry so that I may speak just once more. What if ten are found there?” He replied,“ I will not destroy it for the sake of the ten.”

He said,“ Oh don’t let the Lord be angry, and I will speak just once more. What if ten are found there?” He said,“ I will not destroy it for the ten’s sake.”

Gideon then said to God,“ Don’t be angry with me; let me speak one more time. Please allow me to make one more test with the fleece. Let it remain dry, and the dew be all over the ground.”

The prayer of faith will save the sick person, and the Lord will raise him up; if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is very powerful in its effect.Elijah was a human being as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and for three years and six months it did not rain on the land.

“ Ask, and it will be given to you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and the door will be opened to you.

And if we know that he hears whatever we ask, we know that we have what we have asked of him.If anyone sees a fellow believer committing a sin that doesn’t lead to death, he should ask, and God will give life to him— to those who commit sin that doesn’t lead to death. There is sin that leads to death. I am not saying he should pray about that.

So the LORD relented concerning the disaster he had said he would bring on his people.

Then he said,“ My Lord, if I have indeed found favor with you, my Lord, please go with us( even though this is a stiff-necked people), forgive our iniquity and our sin, and accept us as your own possession.”And the LORD responded,“ Look, I am making a covenant. In the presence of all your people I will perform wonders that have never been done in the whole earth or in any nation. All the people you live among will see the LORD’s work, for what I am doing with you is awe-inspiring.

The LORD passed in front of him and proclaimed: The LORD— the LORD is a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger and abounding in faithful love and truth,maintaining faithful love to a thousand generations, forgiving iniquity, rebellion, and sin. But he will not leave the guilty unpunished, bringing the consequences of the fathers’ iniquity on the children and grandchildren to the third and fourth generation.

The sacrifice of the wicked is detestable to the LORD, but the prayer of the upright is his delight.

The LORD said to Moses,“ How long will these people despise me? How long will they not trust in me despite all the signs I have performed among them?I will strike them with a plague and destroy them. Then I will make you into a greater and mightier nation than they are.”But Moses replied to the LORD,“ The Egyptians will hear about it, for by your strength you brought up this people from them.They will tell it to the inhabitants of this land. They have heard that you, LORD, are among these people, how you, LORD, are seen face to face, how your cloud stands over them, and how you go before them in a pillar of cloud by day and in a pillar of fire by night.If you kill this people with a single blow, the nations that have heard of your fame will declare,‘ Since the LORD wasn’t able to bring this people into the land he swore to give them, he has slaughtered them in the wilderness.’“ So now, may my Lord’s power be magnified just as you have spoken:The LORD is slow to anger and abounding in faithful love, forgiving iniquity and rebellion. But he will not leave the guilty unpunished, bringing the consequences of the fathers’ iniquity on the children to the third and fourth generation.Please pardon the iniquity of this people, in keeping with the greatness of your faithful love, just as you have forgiven them from Egypt until now.”The LORD responded,“ I have pardoned them as you requested.

The LORD says this:“ As the new wine is found in a bunch of grapes, and one says,‘ Don’t destroy it, for there’s some good in it,’ so I will act because of my servants and not destroy them all.

Who is a God like you, forgiving iniquity and passing over rebellion for the remnant of his inheritance? He does not hold on to his anger forever because he delights in faithful love.

For you, Lord, are kind and ready to forgive, abounding in faithful love to all who call on you.

Then he said,“ Let my lord not be angry, and I will speak further. Suppose thirty are found there?” He answered,“ I will not do it if I find thirty there.”

If there is an angel on his side, one mediator out of a thousand, to tell a person what is right for him

Now to him who is able to do above and beyond all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us—

The LORD also said to Moses,“ I have seen this people, and they are indeed a stiff-necked people.Now leave me alone, so that my anger can burn against them and I can destroy them. Then I will make you into a great nation.”

Now if I have indeed found favor with you, please teach me your ways, and I will know you, so that I may find favor with you. Now consider that this nation is your people.”And he replied,“ My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”

“ I am the LORD. I have called you for a righteous purpose, and I will hold you by your hand. I will watch over you, and I will appoint you to be a covenant for the people and a light to the nations,in order to open blind eyes, to bring out prisoners from the dungeon, and those sitting in darkness from the prison house.
