Then he said,“ Oh may the Lord not be angry, and I shall speak; suppose thirty are found there?” And He said,“ I will not do it if I find thirty there.”

亚伯拉罕说：“求主不要动怒，容我说，假若在那里见有三十个怎么样呢？”他说：“我在那里若见有三十个，我也不做这事。”

亚伯拉罕说：“求主不要生气，容我说，假若在那里找到三十个呢？”他说：“我在那里若找到三十个，我也不做。”

亚伯拉罕说：“求主不要发怒，容许我再问一次，倘若在那里只找到三十个义人呢？”耶和华说：“倘若在那里只找到三十个，我也不会毁灭那城。”

亚伯拉罕说：“请我主不要动怒，容我再问：‘假如在那里找到三十个呢？’”他回答：“我若在那里找到三十个，也不这样作。”

亚伯拉罕接着说：“请我主不要恼火，容我说，假如在那里找到三十个呢？”耶和华说：“如果我在那里找到三十个，我也不会这样做。”

曰、願主毋怒、容我言之、假令三十人、則何如、曰、有三十人、亦弗行是、

曰、主毋怒、我有一言、若三十人則何如。曰、三十人、亦弗行是。

亞伯拉罕曰、求主毋怒、容我言、若邑中遇三十人則何如、曰、我若遇三十人亦不行是、

Then he said,“ May the Lord not be angry, but let me speak. What if only thirty can be found there?” He answered,“ I will not do it if I find thirty there.”

Then Abraham said,“ Lord, please don’t be angry with me. Let me speak. What if only 30 can be found there?” He answered,“ If I find 30, I will not do it.”

Then he said,“ Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak. Suppose thirty are found there.” He answered,“ I will not do it, if I find thirty there.”

“ Please don’t be angry, my Lord,” Abraham pleaded.“ Let me speak— suppose only thirty righteous people are found?” And the Lord replied,“ I will not destroy it if I find thirty.”

Then he said,“ Let my lord not be angry, and I will speak further. Suppose thirty are found there?” He answered,“ I will not do it if I find thirty there.”

Then he said,“ Let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak: Suppose thirty should be found there?” So He said,“ I will not do it if I find thirty there.”

And he said, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak: peradventure there shall thirty be found there. And he said, I will not do it, if I find thirty there.

Then he said,“ Let the Lord not be angry, and I will speak further. Suppose 30 are found there?” He answered,“ I will not do it if I find 30 there.”

And he said[ unto him], Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak: Peradventure there shall thirty be found there. And he said, I will not do[ it], if I find thirty there.

Then Abraham said,“ May the Lord not be angry so that I may speak! What if thirty are found there?” He replied,“ I will not do it if I find thirty there.”

He said,“ Oh don’t let the Lord be angry, and I will speak. What if there are thirty found there?” He said,“ I will not do it if I find thirty there.”

A God greatly feared in the council of the holy ones, And awesome above all those who are around Him?

For He who requires blood remembers them; He does not forget the cry of the needy.

“ All the king’s servants and the people of the king’s provinces know that for any man or woman who comes to the king in the inner courtyard, who is not summoned, he has only one law, that he be put to death, unless the king holds out to him the golden scepter so that he may live. And I have not been summoned to come to the king for these thirty days.”And they reported Esther’s words to Mordecai.Then Mordecai told them to reply to Esther,“ Do not imagine that you in the king’s palace can escape any more than all the other Jews.For if you keep silent at this time, liberation and rescue will arise for the Jews from another place, and you and your father’s house will perish. And who knows whether you have not attained royalty for such a time as this?”Then Esther told them to reply to Mordecai,“ Go, gather all the Jews who are found in Susa, and fast for me; do not eat or drink for three days, night or day. I and my attendants also will fast in the same way. And then I will go in to the king, which is not in accordance with the law; and if I perish, I perish.”

Lord, You have heard the desire of the humble; You will strengthen their heart, You will make Your ear attentive

Then I said,“ Woe to me, for I am ruined! Because I am a man of unclean lips, And I live among a people of unclean lips; For my eyes have seen the King, the Lord of armies.”

Then Judah approached him and said,“ Oh my lord, may your servant please speak a word in my lord’s ears, and do not be angry with your servant; for you are equal to Pharaoh.

“ Behold, I am insignificant; what can I say in response to You? I put my hand on my mouth.

Therefore, since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let’s show gratitude, by which we may offer to God an acceptable service with reverence and awe;for our God is a consuming fire.

Then Gideon said to God,“ Do not let Your anger burn against me, so that I may speak only one more time; please let me put You to the test only one more time with the fleece: let it now be dry only on the fleece, and let there be dew on all the ground.”

“ For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” declares the Lord.“ For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways And My thoughts than your thoughts.
