Suppose the fifty righteous are lacking five, will You destroy the entire city because of five?” And He said,“ I will not destroy it if I find forty five there.”

假若这五十个义人短了五个，你就因为短了五个毁灭全城吗？”他说：“我在那里若见有四十五个，也不毁灭那城。”

假若这五十个义人少了五个，你就因为少了五个而毁灭全城吗？”他说：“我在那里若找到四十五个，就不毁灭。”

假若这五十个义人少了五个，你就因为少了五个而毁灭全城吗？”他说：“我在那里若找到四十五个，就不毁灭。”

倘若只有四十五个义人，你会因为少了五个义人而毁灭全城吗？”耶和华说：“倘若我在城里找到四十五个义人，我也不会毁灭那城。”

假如这五十个义人中缺少了五个，你会因为缺少了五个就毁灭全城吗？”他说：“我若在那里找到四十五个，我也不会毁灭那城。”

假如这五十个义人中缺少五个，难道你会因缺少五个而毁灭全城吗？”耶和华说：“如果我在那里找到四十五个，我也不会毁灭那城。”

假令五十義者缺其五、豈因缺五人、而滅此一邑乎、曰、設有四十五人、則亦弗滅、

浸假而五十義者、缺其五、豈因是滅此一邑乎。曰、如有四十五人、則亦弗滅。

若五十善人、缺五人、則因缺五人而滅此一邑乎、曰、若邑中我遇四十五人則亦不滅、

what if the number of the righteous is five less than fifty? Will you destroy the whole city for lack of five people?”“ If I find forty- five there,” he said,“ I will not destroy it.”

What if the number of godly people is five fewer than 50? Will you destroy the whole city because there are five fewer people?”“ If I find 45 there,” he said,“ I will not destroy it.”

Suppose five of the fifty righteous are lacking. Will you destroy the whole city for lack of five?” And he said,“ I will not destroy it if I find forty-five there.”

Suppose there are only forty five righteous people rather than fifty? Will you destroy the whole city for lack of five?” And the Lord said,“ I will not destroy it if I find forty five righteous people there.”

suppose the fifty righteous lack five. Will you destroy the whole city for lack of five?” He replied,“ I will not destroy it if I find forty-five there.”

Suppose there were five less than the fifty righteous; would You destroy all of the city for lack of five?” So He said,“ If I find there forty-five, I will not destroy it.”

peradventure there shall lack five of the fifty righteous: wilt thou destroy all the city for lack of five? And he said, I will not destroy it, if I find there forty and five.

suppose the 50 righteous lack five. Will you destroy the whole city for lack of five?” He replied,“ I will not destroy it if I find 45 there.”

Peradventure there shall lack five of the fifty righteous: wilt thou destroy all the city for[ lack of] five? And he said, If I find there forty and five, I will not destroy[ it].

what if there are five less than the fifty godly people? Will you destroy the whole city because five are lacking?” He replied,“ I will not destroy it if I find forty-five there.”

What if there will lack five of the fifty righteous? Will you destroy all the city for lack of five?” He said,“ I will not destroy it if I find forty- five there.”

So now, please, let the power of the Lord be great, just as You have declared, saying,‘ The Lord is slow to anger and abundant in mercy, forgiving wrongdoing and violation of His Law; but He will by no means leave the guilty unpunished, inflicting the punishment of the fathers on the children to the third and the fourth generations.’Please forgive the guilt of this people in accordance with the greatness of Your mercy, just as You also have forgiven this people, from Egypt even until now.”

Oh that I knew how to find Him, That I might come to His home!I would present my case before Him And fill my mouth with arguments.

And he spoke to Him yet again and said,“ Suppose forty are found there?” And He said,“ I will not do it on account of the forty.”

So the Lord said,“ If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare the entire place on their account.”

So they put sackcloth around their waists and ropes on their heads, and came to the king of Israel and said,“ Your servant Ben hadad says,‘ Please let me live.’ ” And Ahab said,“ Is he still alive? He is my brother.”Now the men took this as a good omen, and quickly accepting it from him, they said,“ Your brother Ben hadad.” Then he said,“ Go, bring him.” Then Ben hadad came out to him, and he had him mount the chariot.
