Surely you wouldn’t do such a thing, destroying the righteous along with the wicked. Why, you would be treating the righteous and the wicked exactly the same! Surely you wouldn’t do that! Should not the Judge of all the earth do what is right?”

善惡倂誅、臧否同待、此斷非爾所為、鞫天下者、豈不行義乎、

並誅善惡不可、待善惡相等亦不可、鞫天下者、豈不行義乎。

不分善惡俱誅、待善惡相均、此固非主所為、鞫天下者豈不行公義乎、

Far be it from you to do such a thing— to kill the righteous with the wicked, treating the righteous and the wicked alike. Far be it from you! Will not the Judge of all the earth do right?”

You would never kill godly people along with those who are evil, would you? Would you treat them all alike? You would never do anything like that! Won’t the Judge of the whole earth do what is right?”

Far be it from you to do such a thing, to put the righteous to death with the wicked, so that the righteous fare as the wicked! Far be that from you! Shall not the Judge of all the earth do what is just?”

You could not possibly do such a thing: to kill the righteous with the wicked, treating the righteous and the wicked alike. You could not possibly do that! Won’t the Judge of the whole earth do what is just?”

Far be it from You to do such a thing, to kill the righteous with the wicked, so that the righteous and the wicked are treated alike. Far be it from You! Shall not the Judge of all the earth deal justly?”

Far be it from You to do such a thing as this, to slay the righteous with the wicked, so that the righteous should be as the wicked; far be it from You! Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?”

That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked, that so the righteous should be as the wicked; that be far from thee: shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?

That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that be far from thee: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?

Far be it from you to do such a thing– to kill the godly with the wicked, treating the godly and the wicked alike! Far be it from you! Will not the judge of the whole earth do what is right?”

May it be far from you to do things like that, to kill the righteous with the wicked, so that the righteous should be like the wicked. May that be far from you. Shouldn’t the Judge of all the earth do right?”

“ But look, God will not reject a person of integrity, nor will he lend a hand to the wicked.

Does God twist justice? Does the Almighty twist what is right?

Then at last everyone will say,“ There truly is a reward for those who live for God; surely there is a God who judges justly here on earth.”

He is the Rock; his deeds are perfect. Everything he does is just and fair. He is a faithful God who does no wrong; how just and upright he is!

Tell the godly that all will be well for them. They will enjoy the rich reward they have earned!But the wicked are doomed, for they will get exactly what they deserve.

Arise, O Judge of the earth. Give the proud what they deserve.

“ But,” some might say,“ our sinfulness serves a good purpose, for it helps people see how righteous God is. Isn’t it unfair, then, for him to punish us?”( This is merely a human point of view.)Of course not! If God were not entirely fair, how would he be qualified to judge the world?

before the Lord, for he is coming to judge the earth. He will judge the world with justice, and the nations with fairness.

For we must all stand before Christ to be judged. We will each receive whatever we deserve for the good or evil we have done in this earthly body.

I have seen everything in this meaningless life, including the death of good young people and the long life of wicked people.

Good people pass away; the godly often die before their time. But no one seems to care or wonder why. No one seems to understand that God is protecting them from the evil to come.For those who follow godly paths will rest in peace when they die.

Then you will again see the difference between the righteous and the wicked, between those who serve God and those who do not.”

In addition, the Father judges no one. Instead, he has given the Son absolute authority to judge,so that everyone will honor the Son, just as they honor the Father. Anyone who does not honor the Son is certainly not honoring the Father who sent him.“ I tell you the truth, those who listen to my message and believe in God who sent me have eternal life. They will never be condemned for their sins, but they have already passed from death into life.“ And I assure you that the time is coming, indeed it’s here now, when the dead will hear my voice— the voice of the Son of God. And those who listen will live.The Father has life in himself, and he has granted that same life giving power to his Son.And he has given him authority to judge everyone because he is the Son of Man.

Innocent or wicked, it is all the same to God. That’s why I say,‘ He destroys both the blameless and the wicked.’When a plague sweeps through, he laughs at the death of the innocent.

Lord, you always give me justice when I bring a case before you. So let me bring you this complaint: Why are the wicked so prosperous? Why are evil people so happy?

But even though a person sins a hundred times and still lives a long time, I know that those who fear God will be better off.The wicked will not prosper, for they do not fear God. Their days will never grow long like the evening shadows.

The Lord examines both the righteous and the wicked. He hates those who love violence.He will rain down blazing coals and burning sulfur on the wicked, punishing them with scorching winds.For the righteous Lord loves justice. The virtuous will see his face.

Could God govern if he hated justice? Are you going to condemn the almighty judge?For he says to kings,‘ You are wicked,’ and to nobles,‘ You are unjust.’He doesn’t care how great a person may be, and he pays no more attention to the rich than to the poor. He made them all.
