Far be it from you to do such a thing, to put the righteous to death with the wicked, so that the righteous fare as the wicked! Far be that from you! Shall not the Judge of all the earth do what is just?”

善惡倂誅、臧否同待、此斷非爾所為、鞫天下者、豈不行義乎、

並誅善惡不可、待善惡相等亦不可、鞫天下者、豈不行義乎。

不分善惡俱誅、待善惡相均、此固非主所為、鞫天下者豈不行公義乎、

Far be it from you to do such a thing— to kill the righteous with the wicked, treating the righteous and the wicked alike. Far be it from you! Will not the Judge of all the earth do right?”

You would never kill godly people along with those who are evil, would you? Would you treat them all alike? You would never do anything like that! Won’t the Judge of the whole earth do what is right?”

Surely you wouldn’t do such a thing, destroying the righteous along with the wicked. Why, you would be treating the righteous and the wicked exactly the same! Surely you wouldn’t do that! Should not the Judge of all the earth do what is right?”

You could not possibly do such a thing: to kill the righteous with the wicked, treating the righteous and the wicked alike. You could not possibly do that! Won’t the Judge of the whole earth do what is just?”

Far be it from You to do such a thing, to kill the righteous with the wicked, so that the righteous and the wicked are treated alike. Far be it from You! Shall not the Judge of all the earth deal justly?”

Far be it from You to do such a thing as this, to slay the righteous with the wicked, so that the righteous should be as the wicked; far be it from You! Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?”

That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked, that so the righteous should be as the wicked; that be far from thee: shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?

You could not possibly do such a thing: to kill the righteous with the wicked, treating the righteous and the wicked alike. You could not possibly do that! Won’t the Judge of all the earth do what is just?”

That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that be far from thee: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?

Far be it from you to do such a thing– to kill the godly with the wicked, treating the godly and the wicked alike! Far be it from you! Will not the judge of the whole earth do what is right?”

May it be far from you to do things like that, to kill the righteous with the wicked, so that the righteous should be like the wicked. May that be far from you. Shouldn’t the Judge of all the earth do right?”

“ Behold, God will not reject a blameless man, nor take the hand of evildoers.

Does God pervert justice? Or does the Almighty pervert the right?

Mankind will say,“ Surely there is a reward for the righteous; surely there is a God who judges on earth.”

“ The Rock, his work is perfect, for all his ways are justice. A God of faithfulness and without iniquity, just and upright is he.

Tell the righteous that it shall be well with them, for they shall eat the fruit of their deeds.Woe to the wicked! It shall be ill with him, for what his hands have dealt out shall be done to him.

Rise up, O judge of the earth; repay to the proud what they deserve!

But if our unrighteousness serves to show the righteousness of God, what shall we say? That God is unrighteous to inflict wrath on us?( I speak in a human way.)By no means! For then how could God judge the world?

before the Lord, for he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world with righteousness, and the peoples with equity.

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil.

In my vain life I have seen everything. There is a righteous man who perishes in his righteousness, and there is a wicked man who prolongs his life in his evildoing.

The righteous man perishes, and no one lays it to heart; devout men are taken away, while no one understands. For the righteous man is taken away from calamity;he enters into peace; they rest in their beds who walk in their uprightness.

Then once more you shall see the distinction between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves God and one who does not serve him.

For the Father judges no one, but has given all judgment to the Son,that all may honor the Son, just as they honor the Father. Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him.Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.“ Truly, truly, I say to you, an hour is coming, and is now here, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live.For as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son also to have life in himself.And he has given him authority to execute judgment, because he is the Son of Man.

It is all one; therefore I say,‘ He destroys both the blameless and the wicked.’When disaster brings sudden death, he mocks at the calamity of the innocent.

Righteous are you, O Lord, when I complain to you; yet I would plead my case before you. Why does the way of the wicked prosper? Why do all who are treacherous thrive?

Though a sinner does evil a hundred times and prolongs his life, yet I know that it will be well with those who fear God, because they fear before him.But it will not be well with the wicked, neither will he prolong his days like a shadow, because he does not fear before God.

The Lord tests the righteous, but his soul hates the wicked and the one who loves violence.Let him rain coals on the wicked; fire and sulfur and a scorching wind shall be the portion of their cup.For the Lord is righteous; he loves righteous deeds; the upright shall behold his face.

Shall one who hates justice govern? Will you condemn him who is righteous and mighty,who says to a king,‘ Worthless one,’ and to nobles,‘ Wicked man,’who shows no partiality to princes, nor regards the rich more than the poor, for they are all the work of his hands?
