Then Abraham approached him and said:“ Will you sweep away the righteous with the wicked?

Then Abraham came up to him. He said,“ Will you sweep away godly people along with those who are evil?

Then Abraham drew near and said,“ Will you indeed sweep away the righteous with the wicked?

And Abraham drew near, and said, Wilt thou consume the righteous with the wicked?

Abraham stepped forward and said,“ Will You really sweep away the righteous with the wicked?

Abraham approached and said,“ Will you sweep away the godly along with the wicked?

Abraham came near, and said,“ Will you consume the righteous with the wicked?

But Moses and Aaron fell facedown and cried out,“ O God, the God who gives breath to all living things, will you be angry with the entire assembly when only one man sins?” (niv)

When David saw the angel who was striking down the people, he said to the Lord,“ I have sinned; I, the shepherd, have done wrong. These are but sheep. What have they done? Let your hand fall on me and my family.” (niv)

But if our unrighteousness brings out God’s righteousness more clearly, what shall we say? That God is unjust in bringing his wrath on us?( I am using a human argument.)Certainly not! If that were so, how could God judge the world? (niv)

Can someone who hates justice govern? Will you condemn the just and mighty One? (niv)

Far be it from you to do such a thing— to kill the righteous with the wicked, treating the righteous and the wicked alike. Far be it from you! Will not the Judge of all the earth do right?” (niv)

Elijah was a human being, even as we are. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years. (niv)

The Lord is in his holy temple; the Lord is on his heavenly throne. He observes everyone on earth; his eyes examine them.The Lord examines the righteous, but the wicked, those who love violence, he hates with a passion.On the wicked he will rain fiery coals and burning sulfur; a scorching wind will be their lot.For the Lord is righteous, he loves justice; the upright will see his face. (niv)

Does God pervert justice? Does the Almighty pervert what is right? (niv)

Their leader will be one of their own; their ruler will arise from among them. I will bring him near and he will come close to me— for who is he who will devote himself to be close to me?’ declares the Lord. (niv)

let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. (niv)

But as for me, it is good to be near God. I have made the Sovereign Lord my refuge; I will tell of all your deeds. (niv)
