撒拉因为害怕就否认说：“我没有笑”；但那人说：“不，你确实笑了。”

撒拉就害怕，不承认，说：“我没有笑。”那位说：“不然，你实在笑了。”

撒拉听见后非常害怕，连忙否认说：“我没有笑！”但耶和华说：“不，你确实笑了。”

Sarah was afraid, so she lied and said,“ I did not laugh.” But he said,“ Yes, you did laugh.”

Sarah was afraid. So she lied and said,“ I didn’t laugh.” But the Lord said,“ Yes, you laughed.”

But Sarah denied it, saying,“ I did not laugh,” for she was afraid. He said,“ No, but you did laugh.”

Sarah was afraid, so she denied it, saying,“ I didn’t laugh.” But the Lord said,“ No, you did laugh.”

Sarah denied it.“ I did not laugh,” she said, because she was afraid. But he replied,“ No, you did laugh.”

Sarah denied it, however, saying,“ I did not laugh”; for she was afraid. And He said,“ No, but you did laugh.”

But Sarah denied it, saying,“ I did not laugh,” for she was afraid. And He said,“ No, but you did laugh!”

Then Sarah denied, saying, I laughed not; for she was afraid. And he said, Nay; but thou didst laugh.

Sarah denied it.“ I did not laugh,” she said, because she was afraid. But He replied,“ No, you did laugh.”

Then Sarah denied, saying, I laughed not; for she was afraid. And he said, Nay; but thou didst laugh.

Then Sarah lied, saying,“ I did not laugh,” because she was afraid. But the LORD said,“ No! You did laugh.”

Then Sarah denied it, saying,“ I didn’t laugh,” for she was afraid. He said,“ No, but you did laugh.”

难道神不会洞察这事吗？要知道，他明白人心里的隐秘。

掩盖自己过犯的，不会兴盛；承认并离弃过犯的，必蒙怜悯。

耶和华对该隐说：“你弟弟亚伯在哪里呢？”他说：“我不知道。难道我是看守我兄弟的吗？”

那看门的女仆问彼得：“你不也是这个人的门徒吗？”彼得说：“我不是。”

西门彼得正站着取暖，有人对他说：“你不也是他的门徒吗？”彼得否认说：“我不是。”大祭司的一个奴仆，就是被彼得削掉耳朵的那个人的亲戚，说：“我不是看见你与他一起在园子里吗？”彼得再次否认。立时，鸡就叫了。

我们知道，律法上的一切话都是对律法之下的人讲的，好堵住每个人的口，使全世界的人都在神的审判之下有罪，

而你们在自己的心灵里得以更新，

不要彼此说谎，因你们已经脱去了旧人和旧人的所作所为，

诚实的嘴唇，永远存留；撒谎的舌头，转瞬即逝。

请你说你是我的妹妹，好让我因你的缘故受到善待，我的性命也因你的缘故得以存活。”

他也不需要谁来见证人的事，因为他知道人里面是什么。

耶稣灵里立刻知道他们心里这样想，就对他们说：“你们心里为什么想这些事呢？
