撒拉暗笑，心裡說：「我已經衰老，我的丈夫也老了，我還能有這等快樂嗎？」

撒拉心里暗笑，说：“我既已衰败，我主也老迈，岂能有这喜事呢？”

撒拉心里窃笑，说：“我已衰老，我的主也老了，怎能有这喜事呢？”

撒拉心里窃笑，说：“我已衰老，我的主也老了，怎能有这喜事呢？”

撒拉暗自发笑，心想：“我已经这么老了，还会有这种福气吗？况且我的丈夫也很老了。”

撒拉心里暗笑，说：“现在我已经衰老了，我的丈夫也老了，我还有房事的乐趣吗？”

撒拉暗笑，心里说：“我已经衰老，我的丈夫也老了，我还能有这等快乐吗？”

撒拉心裏暗笑，說：「我既已衰敗，我主也老邁，豈能有這喜事呢？」

撒拉心裏竊笑，說：「我已衰老，我的主也老了，怎能有這喜事呢？」

撒拉心裏竊笑，說：「我已衰老，我的主也老了，怎能有這喜事呢？」

撒拉暗自發笑，心想：「我已經這麼老了，還會有這種福氣嗎？況且我的丈夫也很老了。」

撒拉心裡暗笑，說：“現在我已經衰老了，我的丈夫也老了，我還有房事的樂趣嗎？”

撒拉肚子裏暗笑着說：『我已經衰敗，我的丈夫也老邁，哪裏還能有婚媾的樂趣呢？』

竊哂曰、我老矣、吾主亦然、庸有喜乎、

故竊哂曰、我老矣、我主亦然、豈復有生子之樂乎。

撒拉竊哂云、我已衰矣、我主亦老、豈復有生子之樂乎、

So Sarah laughed to herself as she thought,“ After I am worn out and my lord is old, will I now have this pleasure?”

So she laughed to herself. She thought,“ I’m worn out, and my husband is old. Can I really know the joy of having a baby?”

So Sarah laughed to herself, saying,“ After I am worn out, and my lord is old, shall I have pleasure?”

So she laughed silently to herself and said,“ How could a worn out woman like me enjoy such pleasure, especially when my master— my husband— is also so old?”

So she laughed to herself:“ After I am worn out and my lord is old, will I have delight?”

So Sarah laughed to herself, saying,“ After I have become old, am I to have pleasure, my lord being old also?”

Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying,“ After I have grown old, shall I have pleasure, my Lord being old also?”

And Sarah laughed within herself, saying, After I am waxed old shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also?

So she laughed to herself:“ After I have become shriveled up and my lord is old, will I have delight?”

Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, After I am waxed old shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also?

So Sarah laughed to herself, thinking,“ After I am worn out will I have pleasure, especially when my husband is old too?”

Sarah laughed within herself, saying,“ After I have grown old will I have pleasure, my lord being old also?”

就像撒拉順從亞伯拉罕，稱他為主那樣；當你們行善而不怕任何驚擾的時候，就成為撒拉的兒女了。

亞伯拉罕就臉伏於地笑了，心裡說：「難道一百歲的人還能生孩子嗎？就是撒拉也已經九十歲了，還能生育嗎？」

撒迦利亞對天使說：「我憑著什麼能知道這事呢？我是個老人，我的妻子也上了年紀。」天使回答他，說：「我是站在神面前的加百列，奉差派來對你說話，向你傳達這些好消息。看哪，你要成為啞巴，不能說話，一直到這些事成就的日子，因為你不相信我的話！到了時候，我的話就會應驗。」

撒拉說：「神使我歡笑，所有聽見的人也必與我一同歡笑。」她又說：「當年會有人對亞伯拉罕說『撒拉將乳養孩子』嗎？我竟然在他年老的時候，為他生了一個兒子。」

瑪麗亞對天使說：「我既然沒有出嫁，怎麼會有這事呢？」天使回答她，說：「聖靈將要臨到你，至高者的大能要蔭庇你，因此，那要誕生的聖者將被稱為神的兒子。

耶和華對亞伯拉罕說：「撒拉為什麼暗笑，說：『我已經老了，真的還能生育嗎？』

那時我們的口充滿歡笑，我們的舌頭充滿歡呼；人們在列國中說：「耶和華為他們行了大事！」

同樣因著信，不能生育的撒拉，自己雖然過了年齡，還是領受了懷孕生子的能力，原來她認為向她應許的那一位是信實的。所以從一個如同已經死了的人，就生出了許多人，像天空的星那樣眾多，像海邊的沙那樣無法數算。

不過，你們每一個人也要愛自己的妻子，就像愛自己一樣；而妻子要敬重丈夫。
