The Lord appeared to Abraham near the great trees of Mamre while he was sitting at the entrance to his tent in the heat of the day.

And the Lord appeared to him by the oaks of Mamre, as he sat at the door of his tent in the heat of the day.

亞伯蘭遂遷幕、至希伯崙、近幔利之橡而居、為耶和華築壇焉、

有逃遁者、以告希伯來人亞伯蘭、時、亞伯蘭居近亞摩利人幔利之橡、幔利乃以實各亞乃之兄弟、此三人曾與亞伯蘭結盟、

謂約瑟曰、昔在迦南之路斯、全能上帝顯見、錫嘏於我、

耶和華顯見、諭以撒曰、毋往埃及、必居我所示之地、

諸父兄弟聽之、我祖亞伯拉罕、在米所波大米、未居哈蘭時、有榮之上帝見於彼、

上帝言竟、離亞伯拉罕而上升、○

是夕上帝見於所羅門、謂之曰、所欲我賜爾者、爾其求之、

亞伯蘭年九十有九、耶和華顯見、諭之曰、我乃全能之上帝、爾宜行於我前、而為完人、我與爾約、使爾苗裔、繁衍昌熾、亞伯蘭遂俯伏焉、上帝與之言曰、

嗣後耶和華於異象中、諭亞伯蘭曰、亞伯蘭歟、毋懼、我為爾盾、大賚於爾、

耶和華顯見於亞伯蘭曰、我將以斯土賜爾苗裔、亞伯蘭為顯見之耶和華、築壇於彼、

摩西對曰、恐彼不信、不從我言、必曰耶和華未嘗顯見於爾、
